"Speaking of the Carusos," I pulled out some papers. "Daniel's trial ended yesterday. Twenty-five years, no possibility of parole. Vinny got fifteen, but he's dying anyway. Their entire organization has been dismantled."
"And the Colombians?"
"Gone. After Marco's task force took down their operation, they won't be doing business in Chicago again." I paused. "Though there are rumors of new players trying to move in."
Dad leaned forward. "Be careful, Rosa. Power vacuums are dangerous."
