The door swung open suddenly. "Mama, Papa mentioned we're relocating to Italy!" Daniella's voice was shrill and tinged with irritation. She refrained from knocking. She did not knock ever. The twenty-year-old stood at the entrance, arms folded, her expression contorted into a frown. "I refuse to return!" Bianca shut her eyes briefly, trying to remain composed. She faced the mirror again, meticulously putting on her eyeliner. If her hand shook, she pretended not to notice.
