Danny's POV The cabin of the car felt like it was shrinking, the air thick with the smell of expensive leather and the terrifying ozone of Chadwick’s rage. I was still holding the burner phone I had snatched from him. "Give me the phone, Danny," he said, his voice a low, vibrating hum that I felt in my teeth. "No!" I shoved it against my chest, right under my silk shirt. "You aren't killing anyone tonight. You are insane and you have a warped sense of humor."

KELLY On our way back to the hotel, I couldn't help but notice that Danny was still vibrating with barely contained rage. His hands were clenched into tight fists, his jaw was rigid, and he looked like he was using every ounce of self-control to keep from punching something. Or someone. "Does he have serious anger management issues?" I wondered, watching him out of the corner of my eye. Even I - the actual victim here - wasn't this worked up anymore. The adrenaline had worn off, and mostly I just felt exhausted.

Chester thundered angrily such that the whole pack house shook under his powerful Beta voice. “Kids these days,” Zompano scoffed. “Zero fvcking manners,” he snorted. “Why ? Do you want us to call you Uncle or Grandpa now ?” I could not help myself but retort at the fvcking evil man in front of us. Only I knew how much I was refraining from snapping that bastard’s neck right now. “You have got quite a tongue there, lady but if I were you, I would not venture into the dangerous zone of angering me,” he said before getting up and approaching Danielle.

Danny spit out. He sounded as if he was choking on something. It didn’t sound normal. The other voice was too soft for Frank to hear, so he tried to move faster. "Hurry up and heal me," Danny yelled. The other voice whispered some more, making Danny very angry. "What are you talking about? This wasn’t part of the plan," Danny gargled out before Frank heard a quick swipe of a blade.

The thick silver gate trapping me was violently kicked from inside, bent and broken by brute force! The dust settled slowly. Through the dim light, the phantom of an 18-year-old werewolf in a white shirt emerged, carrying me out step by step. Stunned, Ronan turned. He came face-to-face with the nightmare that would haunt him for the rest of his life.

Phantom’s body is more chiseled and honed by his profession. Fortunately, the brawl is halted when Priest and Heathen grab ahold of them and pull them apart. Both men are foaming at the mouth as they gaze heatedly into each other’s eyes. Hunter yells out from his bloody and swollen lips. “Stay away from my girlfriend, you confederate sister fucker!” Phantom spits blood from his lips and grits out. “Suck my dick, you soft-handed Yankee piece of shit! I’ll fuck your girl over your skinny dead body.”

Carrying him immediately on the living room, he was worried. “Pocco, wake up,” he said but his eyes were still shut. Evangeline followed them and in panic to see a man bleeding, she couldn’t bare a human being harmed, because it was her duty, back in the Angel’s Empire, to protect human. The blood of Pocco was making him crazy, he bit his lower lip as he tried to ignore his cravings. He didn’t want to harm Pocco, he was not afraid that Evangeline might see him because she already knew who and what he was, but he was afraid that he would lose control of himself again.

I don’t know which one of them will stand a chance in case a fight breaks between them, but I don’t want to risk finding that out as well. No. My phantom is a monster and was armed. He will not hesitate to shoot Damon in a beat if he feels threatened. I definitely don’t want my condo to be barricaded as a crime scene whereas I will be the star witness. “Why, love?” he probed. “Are you scared I might do something to him?” He knows the answer to that, and it irritates me to hear him acting oblivious just to taunt me. Sighing aloud, I briefly closed my eyes and calmed myself before I craned my neck and looked at him directly in the eyes, silently cursing his blasted mask.

Chapter -: 38. **~~** "Do you still fuck him?" Danny raised his head to stare into the young man's eyes, really closely and the boy held no emotions, none, it was the mirrored expression his father holds when he is very pissed with someone he despised. But, what has he done for the boy he didn't even know existed until a few minutes ago to hate him so much? "P-Please…," Danny begged, he should let him go. "Please…, Dad, set me free!" He broke down in another stream, shameless as he saw the anger in the boy's eyes burst into a flaming rage.

Xander stood by his side, both were looking worriedly at him. “I don’t know what you’re talking about,” he called back at Mordecai. “You’re just messing with my head.” Dorin’s eyes widened. The people moving towards Dorin fell to the ground, the air knocked out of them. “Now, we continue.” Dorin faced Mordecai once more. He had always loved fighting strong opponents. It means he could let it all out and fight with his real strength, but with his id now in his Phasma core, he was able to calm himself as he continued the duel.
