He looks genuinely happy, radiant, even, smiling at the camera like he’s finally allowed to take up space. And Levi… Levi is looking at him with this quiet, all-consuming devotion.

Manny’s POV I sat there long after Lexi left, staring at the door like it might suddenly open and bring her back. But it didn’t. It just stayed closed, like it always does when she walks toward him. Toward Tristan. I had gone to my room now, with the help of Danny who now sat across from me, pretending to scroll through something on his phone, but I could tell he was watching me in his peripheral vision. He always did that thing, acting casual when the silence grew too heavy.

Tobias went to confirm that Charlie had really died, then he howled to signal that the fight was over. “ Well…that was…anti climatic” Danny mumbled while brush the dirt of his shirt, but I could see him shaking. I gave him a big hug. Danny wiggled, “Oh my goddess! Get off! You said you would come back, but I almost watched you die, idiot!” He shoved me away scowling, suddenly acting like he wasn’t begging me to escape with him a while back. I saw Phoenix tense up from the corner of my eye, I gave him a look. I will not let him attack my brother.

Any normal man would have roared at the boy to get out. But Chad didn't stop. He went harder. He stared directly into that mirror, his eyes locked onto Danny’s reflection with a hunger that had nothing to do with me.

Anna's POV And just like Erica said, Danny came over with a box of pepperoni pizza and drinks. Danny was Erica's boyfriend, they had been dating for eight months and I think they were a perfect match. With his sandy blond hair, tanned skin, dimpled cheeks, sea-green eyes that seemed to glow from afar, and his infectious smile but he was shy and reserved yet somewhat easygoing. There was a certain glow of affection in his eyes whenever he looked at Erica. It was as if she held the stars within her own eyes while also lighting up the entire galaxy that is Danny Phantom.

Danny was standing down the hallway. Watching us. Again. My blood boiled instantly. We locked eyes. And I knew one thing: This wasn’t over. Not even close

He wanted a part in it. “Tsk. Stingy,” Danny relented. Vivian kissed two of her fingers and blew them to Danny. He winked at her and did the same. Then he seemed to realize he did something wrong. “Why you! I told you to stop doing that.” “Don’t worry the CCTV didn’t get it. You’re still in the room,” Vivian teased and Danny glared at her one more time before leaving and closing the door behind him. She recalled the faces of the two who were with him and they were Danny’s personal guards so there was no problem.

Alley POV: The front door opened and my parents walked in, both their bodies were pushed apart due to Danny running full speed at me and Stephen. I held my arms open and he ran straight in to them, "Hi Luna! They picked me up early today! Can we play? I am hungry though.." Gareth says with a gleam in his eyes. I don’t let anything show on my face, no confusion, no surprise, nothing. I wait for him to make his next move.
