Beta Before An Alpha
Was the first thing he said, and I blink.
Danny sighs, averting his eyes that seemed to have seen all the horrible things over the years for a second, “But I was wrong.” He says, and I look at him, confused.
“Danny, what aren’t you telling me?” I ask, and he sighs, walking over to take a picture from the wall. The same picture that caught my attention because of my mom, holding me when I was a baby. However, that wasn’t the only one that caught my eye. It was the huge wolf right beside her. The same wolf in the picture from those headlines I read. My heart beats erratically as I wonder.
