Novel & Cerita Dante's Circles Of Hell

"They won't lay a finger on her!" "Now, Egg Sandwich, explain to me who Diablo is and how his operation works." "Oh, I love suspense, I'll tell you about the operation and then I'll tell you who Diablo is!" He smiled excitedly. "But it's not Diablo's operation, it's the operation of what they call the 'ninth circle of hell'." "What do you mean?" I asked, confused.

A blood-curdling scream came from the furnace. That was how I'd died in my past life, and I couldn't help feeling vindicated as I watched Summer suffer the same fate. The fire ate her up. She'd left blood all over the furnace before her death because she'd tried to claw her way out. Terence stood there, looking like he was admiring a painting. Once Summer was incinerated, he turned to look at Jean. "It's your turn now."

His laughter continued as he took a step back. “Sit tight. Stay right where you are.” “Where am I?” I growled, my voice low and threatening. “Ooh, I almost got scared.” Dante sneered as he stepped closer, gripping my cheeks harshly, his claws scraping against my skin. “You’re in the middle of an inscription circle, bathing in the blood of wolves who were loyal to our deity. Their bodies serve as offerings—virgin females sacrificed to initiate the sealing pact. Isn’t it majestic?” “You’re sick!”

When he opened his eyes, they were their normal burnt ember but as he blinked, the green in his eyes deepened, richened before bursting into a vibrant, fiery red. His pupils shrank until they were nothing but vertical slits. The concern in his eyes from earlier had burned away, leaving only hunger. I left his hold immediately, walking backward until my back hit a tree. The feeling from earlier returned and my bones iced up again so my feet remained glued to the ground. "S…..S…. Sebastian?" My knees bucked and I fell to the grass. "Your eyes." I pointed my shaking finger at his eyes. They were exactly like the man's from my dream.

“Oh, please, Vestra! I’m not daft. I saw everything.” “Yes, you saw everything. But what we see sometimes might not be real.” She paused for a few seconds before continuing, “Dante is trying so hard to make people believe he’s a devil, but he’s not. Circumstances turned him into that. He’s a victim of cruelty and trauma. You should understand him better than anyone else.”

I guess this is it, I made it to hell, the bottomless pit, the great void space, the netherworld, the abode of the dead, the land of the dead, the infernal regions, the great inferno, the nether regions, the abyss. The abode of the damned, eternal damnation, eternal punishment, perdition hellfire, fire and brimstone, Gehenna, Tophet, Abaddon, Sheol, Hades, Tartarus, Acheron, Avernus, Niflheim, literary the pit, the shades archaic, the lower world, the great place of misery, purgatory, world of torture, agony, torment, nightmares, ordeal, trauma, suffering, affliction, anguish, wretchedness, woe, trials and tribulations.

Hell was home to thousands of demons; tens of thousands. A cauldron of sin, the realms were stacked one upon the other, each darker and more sinister than the one above. It was everything humans feared and more. Oppressive and dirty, the halls twisted in an eternity of circles, trapping souls in an endless search for light. There was no time to mark, and no end to crave. And there was the screaming. So much screaming. The primal sound of a soul in agony was something humans would never comprehend. If they knew what awaited them in hell they would wish for eternal nothingness. The fear of losing themselves in death was insignificant to the horror of eternity spent down below.

I actually don't know what changed my mind, and even if I did know, I just couldn't see myself coming to terms with it. Hell was not what I had imagined at all. Who said it was a pit of flames? Given, it's very hot, but it's not on fire per se. The scenery is amazingly beautiful with glimmering lights and shining buildings throughout the realms. It was always nighttime in hell and the lower the level (descending), the hotter it was. There are ten levels of hell. Seven levels are dedicated to the Cardinal sins: pride, envy, wrath, greed, sloth, gluttony, & lust. The eighth and ninth levels are for demons and their quarters. The tenth level is reserved for the King.

The stench is enough to make a grown man’s stomach turn but, miraculously, the automatic doors shut and cut it all off. I’m painfully confirming that Hell is indeed patterned after Greek mythology, and Dante. It’s divided into nine concentric circles, nine underground layers, the next more vicious than the one above it and continuing down to the burning core of the planet itself, where judgment is meted out on the devil himself, Lucifer. Every sinner receives punishment equal to the chief sin they have committed, in an ever grislier dose of poetic justice.

"To the place of your dreams, that place you have always wanted to go to. The only place where you will feel good and be accepted for your faults." "To a circus," said Jonah cautiously, uncertainly. "That's right. What do you say, Jonah?" Asked the young woman. "Who are you?" Asked Jonah, surprised that the stranger knew one of his deepest desires. "Someone you have been calling." "The Devil," said Jonah, his voice was choppy. "No," said the girl with a mocking smile. " God?" Asked the boy with his eyes wide open "This is real life, kid. I am Lucifer."
