It made contact with a sickening crack and blood began pouring from it. Drake cried out, grabbing his nose as I lurched forward to grab the gun. My hand reached out for it, my fingers just touching it when Drake grabbed my hair and yanked roughly back on it. I screamed, my hands reaching back to try to free myself as I stumbled backwards. "You ungrateful, evil woman," Drake spat out in his monotone voice. His fist raised and pounded hard and lethal into my face. I spun from the hit and collapsed face first onto the floor. His foot slammed into my mid-section. I gasped from the hit as I struggled to my knees to get up when he kicked me again, flipping me back down to the ground.
