CHAPTER THIRTY-NINE: Friday night was consumed with nightmares and at 4am I decided to give up trying to sleep. I leaned over to my nightstand and pulled out a book and a reading light. Might as well take this time to get something useful done rather than scroll away on I*******m again. It had been a bit but I was finally reading to finish the last book in this fantasy romance series I loved. I hadn’t wanted the story to end so I had put off reading the last book. I loved the romance between the two main characters, a bad-guy fae who turned out to be the good guy all along, and a human girl who finds herself thrown into a world of magic. Turning the light switch on, her eyes caught sight of an abnormality in the huge crack May made on the wall. It was as if there was smoke going through it. Suddenly Stacey felt an uneasy chilly feeling in her spine. Fortunately, she used a notebook she found on May's desk and poked it in the crack. She felt as if fear jumped out of her brain and shook her body down to her feet when the book faded from her hands. **" The sands are actually dark matter. It's a form of matter that holds all molecules of visible matter together but I don't know how it got so much that if it makes contact with visible matter, it will disintegrate it."**

I looked up to see Nymeria shrieking, her hands on her face as she saw Isadora pierce her claws into Celia’s neck. And in a desperate move, i simply nodded to the book. I was not even sure if I had heard it right or sensed it correct but I could not see Celia die. I would rather die myself. And the moment, I nodded my head, something happened. The book fell out of my hand and landed on the ground with a thud. Its pages flew open and from the center erupted something huge and wide. It was a beam of dark energy. All of us stepped aside as the dark beam rose up in the sky, all the way up as far as it could go.

One burned black, shadow flames searing with Lucian’s fire. And the third… the third burned with blood-red light, an eclipse flame, neither shadow nor light but something older, more primal.
