Rhett turned to Alina— —and saw her eyes go fully red. Not glowing. Bleeding. Alina’s body convulses, her voice erupting into a chilling, layered shriek. The chains snap, exploding outward. She drops to the floor on her knees, head bowed. Slowly… Slowly… She lifts her gaze to Rhett— —and her lips curl into a smile that is not hers. “Hello, Alpha.” Everything goes black.

**FERAL FURY PACK** Lucifer groaned as the morning sun pierced through the curtains, hitting his eyes with a harsh glare. His head throbbed, a relentless reminder of the night before. He sat up slowly, his body heavy and sluggish. As he reached for his phone on the nightstand, the screen lit up with the notification of 42 missed calls—20 from Spike, 20 from Mikhail, and two from Viktor. He sighed, his mind hazy as the events of last night slowly resurfaced. Two bottles of *Everclear*, notorious for its 100% alcohol content, had been more than enough to knock him out. He wondered how he’d managed to fall so deep into the bottle, completely losing himself in the process.

Another line appeared beneath it. CURRENT USER DETECTED: IDENTITY UNKNOWN For several seconds nobody moved. Nobody breathed. Nobody spoke. Alina stared at the words. Because according to the system she wasn't Alina Crosswell. She wasn't Kaira McCauley. The system itself no longer knew who she was. And somewhere in the darkness above the city something began laughing.

- Anne's POV - "Where do you think she went?" Gabriella asked worriedly. "We should find her," I suggested, and she nodded. After half an hour, Maive still wasn't back. Gabriella and I started to get worried about her. We didn't know what was happening to her, but it seemed not good, especially after she saw Daxton with Yskela. I noticed that she had feelings for Daxton. Well, it was obvious but not surprising since most girls on this campus liked him. Who wouldn’t? He is Daxton Astrid, the strongest werewolf in the entire race—the Alpha King.

A gift from her new benefactor, I bet. “Is the sex good at least?” “What?” I feel my eyes widen at her giggling and meddling question. My heart feels like it just leapt into my throat. But for the sake of convincing her I'm not using Dominico just to keep his dad away from me, I'll play along. “Or not as good as you expected?” Alina squints at me, just about whispering the words as smile lines deepen below her high cheekbones. She still has the face and body of a Sports Illustrated model, though. It's a big part of her appeal.

"Reinforcements are approaching." The shutters gave way with an explosive force, and three additional adversaries surged inward in a frenzied assault. Alina moved swiftly forward, her staff radiating a white glow as her wolf's inherent healing energy manifested in lightning-precise strikes. She struck a rogue across the flank, searing the flesh until the beast howled and fell, smoking and twitching in the snow. The second lunged straight for Dorian. The boy did not hesitate. Knife flashing, he sidestepped sharply, blade slicing across its belly. Blood poured hot, but the rogue wheeled back with a snarl.

Ron smiled at the duo and left the place for them to get ready. Alina made her sit again and helped her with the jewellery. She even removed those makeup which is nice but not best for her for this special day. Alina is the best at everything to choose for Clara. She took the dark maroon shade for lipstick while taking the peach colour for eye shadow. She didn't overdo anything and left the cheeks to have a natural blush rather than using anything. Alina is very excited to see how Alex would react to seeing Clara today. She is very proud of herself for transforming Clara into this beautiful angel. Clara lifted her eyes and was amazed to see how she is looking now.

I can't bear to loose my wolf, my other half or I'd be leaving a life worse than of an Omega. "Trev..vor.." After a minute or two I hear him,his voice is weak but at least he's alive and that's the ultimate relief for me. I jolt open my eyes but close then immediately as I feel unable to adjust to the white lights. "Doctor...doctor come fast, our Alpha is getting his senses."A female voice shouts. Seconds later, I hear many footsteps rushing in my direction.One of them try to force my eyes open and aim a torch causing me to feel blind.I groan and at that moment, I wish I could rip his hand off his body.

"Alina… come up here." The camera turned to her and everyone looked in her direction. Alina stilled for a moment, her fingers squeezing the edge of her dress. Why hadn’t he told her he was going to do this?! Jesse leaned in. "You’ve got this." She took in a soft breath and slowly walked to the podium. The hall went quiet again. Aiden stepped aside, giving her the stage. Alina swallowed, smiled nervously, then spoke. "Hi, everyone… I’m Alina Carpenter. I’m part of BLAQ’s creative team."

Where my six-year-old had stood now towered a wolf unlike anything I’d ever seen—huge for his age, pelt gleaming white shot through with veins of gold, eyes twin suns burning through the mist. Selina gasped beside me, hand covering her mouth. “Oh my God…” Malachai laughed softly, though I could smell the fear in it. “Well, this is new. The prodigy finally woke up.” Damon growled—a sound that made the air tremble. When he spoke, his voice wasn’t his; it was echoed, layered, and very authoritative. “Stay away from my family.” Then he moved. It wasn’t a fight. It was an extinction.
