One could tell it was dangerous. Suddenly two shadows emerged from the dark five steps from where she stood. She step back watching the two shadows cautiously. "No!" One of the shadows cried. Its voice covered with fear. The other shadow took out something that looks like a gun and pointed it at the other one. "This is my parting gift for you." The shadow whispered before pulling the trigger. A loud bang echoed in the whole place, taking away the stillness of the night.

Within the center of the chamber stood a pedestal, upon which rested an orb, pulsing with a ghostly blue light. Ethan drew nearer to the sphere cautiously, feeling the crude power radiating from it. “This... this is it,” he murmured. “The source of the darkness.” Lena stepped forward, her eyes fixed on the orb. “If we destroy it, we might be able to stop whatever’s chasing us.” “Or we could unleash something even worse,” Ethan replied, his voice tinged with uncertainty. The darkness swirled and coalesced into a monstrous form, a towering figure of shadow and malice with glowing red eyes that locked onto Ethan and Lena.
