Mikhail's POV Love? I chuckled to myself. I have never encountered this thing and if I haven't experienced it then it's not in existence. Love doesn't exist for me, it's a myth. People have named their selfish desires love. I am not a man of love, my life holds darkness. I can't be the prince on white horse. I am darkness with black cloak of my evilness. Since childhood I have seen only violence and blood, now everything is tainted and I am covered in mud of this evilness. There is no chance for any lotus of love to bloom.

No one even tried. He had claimed Aaron’s solitude with blood. But the night of his true descent came quietly. The palace slept beneath a sky of twin moons, shadows drawn sharp and long over marble. Aaron’s chamber, dimly lit by candlelight, was silent. The servants had long since gone. No guests tonight. Victor moved like a ghost. Not as the Hero. Not in his shining armor. But as the Villain. He wore black, head to toe, a mask obscuring his face, his golden hair bound beneath a hood. In place of his usual blade, he carried twin daggers curved like crescent moons.

Although I was still upset at Raphael, the hatred I was feeling before was completely gone. The Darkness's influence lingered in my mind, and I couldn't shake the feeling that it had manipulated my emotions, amplifying every negative sentiment until it became almost unbearable. Anger, grief, despair, and fury… all these feelings had been magnified, distorted, and twisted to serve The Darkness's sinister purposes. Its presence had been a constant catalyst, fueling my pain and nudging me toward destructive choices. And it worked, exploiting my vulnerabilities with devastating precision.

He held my chin, nearing his face on mine. “Then what is this?” I held out the pictures in my hand, I showed him that picture. He immediately fell blue. I could see him gulping down in fear. Obviously, his evil sins were caught red-handed. “What do you have any justification for this now?” I said, venomously. “I—I…” He went quiet because there weren’t any words equal to this.

Light isn't sufficient in some areas; vampires, especially those who weren't able to accept the pact had never adjusted their eyes to excessive lightning; and so they preferred darkness. “Self, I welcome you back here.” The smile on his face is bitter and embossed with pure hatred and vengeance. “I'll reclaim what's mine. In the right time. For now I'll take my lifeline,” he muttered to himself certain that the plans he has designed will meet its realization soon. Viller is Hodor's right hand. If he did really snatched Maridelle from Nyx, and his contemplation that someone is behind Viller's doing, then probably the first place to bring her is this place.

Xander chuckled softly, his eyes gleaming with malicious delight. "Rescue, you say? Oh, how predictable. But know this, Dakota, the shadows are my ally. Like a God of vengeance he was on Cliff who was closest to him within a minute wrench connecting directly with his head. The man yelled as blood began pouring from the spot that it connected with. Ignoring his feeble attempts to hit him Asher swung again this time hitting Cliff's temple. Like a rag doll he crumpled to the ground unmoving.
