A Story That Doesn’t Belong To You

A Story That Doesn’t Belong To You

Daniel ripped the journal page off the basement wall with trembling fingers. The blade clattered to the floor, the sound metallic and final. Ryan stared at the message, every word carved into his chest like a threat. “Every story needs an ending. I’m coming to write yours myself.” Daniel’s jaw tightened as he crumpled the page in his fist. “He was here, Ryan. He was in the house.” “No no, that’s not possible,” Ryan whispered. “We locked the doors. The windows. The alarm”

The Billionaire’s Forgotten Wife

The Billionaire’s Forgotten Wife

she murmured, her voice soft and filled with curiosity, "will you tell me the story again? The one about the woman and the man who got lost?" Damon smiled, his hand gently stroking her hair. "You want that one again? Even though you already know how it ends?" Eden nodded solemnly. "It’s my favorite”. Juliette stood just outside the door, watching the scene unfold. Her heart ached with the kind of joy that only comes after great pain. She leaned against the doorframe, invisible for now, and listened. Damon's voice lowered into the warm cadence of a storyteller. "Once upon a time, there was a woman with a brave heart, but she forgot who she was. And there was a man who thought he was strong, b

Daring Delfina's Heart

Daring Delfina's Heart

“You heard Ambra. If we do this right, she’ll let her father know we’re good for other jobs. We’ll have an in with the Matrone family.” She was struggling in her chair as the two men exited the kitchen into the dining room carrying gas cans with them. They were going to burn down the restaurant with her in it. She rocked in the chair, whimpering when the chair toppled and because she was tied up, she couldn’t stop the impact to her head. Delfina considered she finally understood the saying ‘seeing stars’ from the way bright lights flitted in her vision from the smack to floor. She closed her eyes and struggled to focus. Wiggling she tried to reach her phone.

I love the lead female character. She is smart, sassy, and she is no damsel. The author knows how to create strong spirited characters. The story is dark, exciting, and truly romantic. Definitely worth reading.

I rarely like a mafia story but this one is brilliant, different and has one of my favourite ever female protagonist in it! She’s strong, honest, quite frankly hilarious at times and unapologetic about her sexual needs. I also love the fact that most of the characters have some character development

Love and Letters: Dina & David's Story

Love and Letters: Dina & David's Story

My gaze goes blurry and I try not to let the tears spill down my face. "Oh, good. You're awake." Uncle Fern spits at me, waving my phone at me. My eyes blearily travel to it, trying to process everything around me. "This thing just kept ringing and ringing." I try to support my own weight, lifting myself off the ground, "Where am I?" "Home, of course." Uncle Fern replies, deliberately skirting the answer to my question. I snarl at him, "This is not my home." "Of course, dear. My apologies. Botswana is your home." Uncle Fern snickers, leaning towards me from where he's seated on his wooden stool, "Then what are you still doing here, Dina? I gave you the chance to leave. Why the delay?"

The Story of Us

The Story of Us

Her POV After two hours of eating, joking, story-telling, and paing the bill, Sir Dan stood up and bid us goodbye. "Elderly people needs to sleep early because we wake up early," he said and winked at us. "Provi you would know your way through the rural area at South Bay, right? "He asked his friend. "It's, ok.. If I get lost, there's Waze!" Mr. Dalton stood up as well but he waited for me to follow after Sir Dan.

Sensual Encounters

Sensual Encounters

My eyes stared at his face then to the monitor Memories flooded my mind.. our first date, our wedding. All the laughter, the fights, the quiet nights. All leading to this moment. I felt numb, like I was floating above the scene. Zora's voice was muffled, as if she was calling from far away. I couldn't process the words, couldn't move. My world had just shattered, and I was stuck in the wreckage. The pain would come later, but for now, I was frozen, trapped in this moment of loss.

The Unseen Husband

The Unseen Husband

She could smell roasted meat, freshly baked bread. Her children had eaten thin porridge for dinner. Again. "Tell us a story, Mama," Dante whispered. "About Papa." Alessia's heart clenched. She'd been telling them stories about their father for months now—made up stories, since she barely knew him herself. Stories about a brave soldier who would come home someday and love them. "Once upon a time," she began, her voice hoarse from cold, "there was a knight who had to go far away to protect the kingdom..."

Claimed By My Enemy Alpha

Claimed By My Enemy Alpha

“This kingdom was called Blood Moon.” The name echoed strangely in Serafina’s mind. Blood Moon. She frowned a little. “I’ve never heard of it before.” “I’m not surprised. Their history was erased.” “By whom?” Darius closed the book. “No one knows for certain. But the stories all end the same way. They were betrayed.” A strange sadness washed over Serafina. “Did everyone die?” She whispered. Darius looked at her. “So the stories say.” Her chest tightened. For a brief second, she imagined flames consuming a castle. Warriors screaming. A child screaming. Then the vision disappeared before she could grasp it. She pressed a hand against her temple once again. These headaches and flashes. What was
