Fated to the Enemy

Fated to the Enemy

LYRA I am pouting like a toddler, and I do not care. Andrew is standing in the doorway of the guest room giving me a list of things to do and remember while he is gone. I am barely listening to the words that are leaving his mouth. None of it seems important. Running my fingers through Prissy’s fur I fight back the tears that threaten to escape my eyes. It is clear that hunting down Cain and Mr. Grayson is at the top of his list even though I have made it clear that I would feel more comfortable with both of my mates by my side. “Are you even listening?” Andrew disrupts my train of self-pity.

My Mafia Sugar Daddy

My Mafia Sugar Daddy

Andrew’s Point of View Andrew and his men finally arrived at Dylan’s house. She was located just a few minutes from Kathrine’s apartment. Her house was big but not too big to draw attention. As they approached, their hearts sank as they realized Dylan’s house was heavily guarded by her loyal men. Andrew remained calm despite the unexpected turns of events. He knew that this mission was crucial, and failure was not an option. Sitting in the car, Andrew glanced at Anthony. Without exchanging a word, they loaded their guns, their hands moving swiftly and methodically. The sound of the bullets sliding into the chambers echoed in the tense silence. They shared a nod of agreement, a silent underst

The Author: Back To High School

The Author: Back To High School

The next day, Dawn brought with her three copies of her book with signatures and personalized short messages. After dropping off her grandmother at her house, she then headed to school. It was especially cloudy that day. The wind was slightly chilly. Dawn wore a white cardigan. Her hair was styled in a french braid. Cloudy days’ supposed to give anyone gloomy feelings but at the sight of Dawn, a person couldn’t help but for their endorphins to rise. Her beauty and gentle temperament could warm a person’s heart. It was as if they were seeing a priceless painting in front of them. One couldn’t help but admire.

So Close to Being in Love

So Close to Being in Love

Late at night, I returned to my room after dinner to find Andrew working on my novel. "When did you arrive?" "Just a few minutes ago." I walked over to him and looked at the computer while asking,"What chapter are you currently in?" "The final chapter. We're almost there to the finish line." "That's fantastic." A knock came on the door. Andrew stood up from his seat, I motioned for him to sit and work, and I said quietly, "I'll see who it is."

A Million Dollar Deal

A Million Dollar Deal

“Mom, if you're going to list my sins, at least get the timeline right. And last I checked, working my ass off to keep this roof over our heads wasn’t a crime. Unlike blowing six figures on a modeling scam that never existed.” Daphne gasped theatrically. “Excuse me?” “You heard me. I'm the one who kept the lights on while you were chasing I*******m dreams. So maybe pump the brakes on the superiority complex.” Andrew's mouth twitched, clearly entertained, but he stayed quiet—for now. Lorraine wasn’t done. “All I'm saying is, Andrew should know exactly what he’s signing up for. Daphne's got polish. Sophia's… well, she's practical. Very practical.”

The Chosen One

The Chosen One

17th Century Few weeks later. Late afternoon, Diana was awakened by the howls of the wild wolves from the woods. After a quick nap in the garden, her mind swum with a departing dream as she sighed. Reluctant to end her beautiful dreams, she began her night with the same dread of waiting for Andrew to return. It had been months, and Andrew had not returned. The light of late afternoon set as she slowly opened her eyes and brought her hands to guard the unwanted brightness from the garden lamp post.

Rising from the Ashes

Rising from the Ashes

Night in the wasteland was real darkness, and this night, there was no moon and no stars. Andrew moved just like a leopard on a hunt, closing in on the town at high speed. He did not use the main entrance but instead vaulted into the town from the side. The overwhelming smell of blood and burning assaulted his senses, enough to make anyone vomit. Yet, his expression did not change in the slightest. He slowly shouldered his greatsword on his back and walked toward the town square. The first thing Andrew saw was that small, charred human-shaped piece of coal. Just from that short stature, his mind immediately conjured the image of the boy called Timmy.

Reynir Kjartansson
Very good story and the ending was relatively good since each part of the story give a obvious closure. The audio book is also available the whole story. Other authors should follow this example. There is nothing worse than a forced ending or a cut off story, so this story gets all stars, great job!

Forbidden Desire:My Best Friend's Brother

Forbidden Desire:My Best Friend's Brother

It’s on Dawn. Andre’s words linger: “She needs to settle down.” To me, Dawn was always the girl who ate glue and got into fights at school. But now? Now she’s not that girl anymore. Now she’s a woman. °•°•°•°•°•°•° [Dawn's pov] I sink onto a stool, grasping the little paper plate in my hand as a group of kids races past. It’s Michael Colombino’s birthday, and I’ve been helping Sophie out. By helping, I mean running the party while she tends to Michael and the other kids.

THE RUTHLESS CEO IS THE BILLIONAIRE’S EX WIFE

THE RUTHLESS CEO IS THE BILLIONAIRE’S EX WIFE

His son was supposed to be married for a year before he could inherit, but he wasn’t ready to settle down, so Andrew did what he saw fit. I had no idea it would turn out to be such a disaster. Ethan Caine might be the man who features in every woman’s dreams, but it doesn’t change the fact that he’s an emotionless asshole. “I’m sorry about him,” Andrew says, his eyes watchful. “He’s finding it hard to get over my threats these last few days. He will come around.” “I’m sure I can handle it, sir,” I reassure him, though deep down, I have so many doubts after meeting Ethan today and seeing how truly coldhearted he is. I thought the media was exaggerating, but no, he really is made of stone.

What did you find out Dawn? Dawn sighed as she kept her hand over her head and said, "well we are dealing with something weird, what Aaron is dealing with is not corruption, it’s possession.”
