In love with the Enemy
My Nanny asked, her eyes searching mine for the answers herself,
"There's a problem Nanny," I said, my voice trembling at the thought of the barrier before me,
Nanny's brows furrowed upon hearing my words, her confusion deeply etched on her face,
"What more problems could there be when you've almost scaled over this?" She asked, her words tinged with a hint of surprise,
"The dungeon guards," I answered firmly, my eyes glistening with the fear that had settled in my heart, "we forgot to take care of them," I added, my words laced with sadness even as my heart heaved hard agsinst my chest.
