He stops just outside our window and drains both blood bags and then gives me back control. I climb into my room and pull out the hand gas canister, a black scarf, and just enough of the cord to tie her hands to the headboard. I put the canister, scarf, and cord into my inside jacket pocket, have another blood bag, and then grab another two bags before climbing back out the window. I give control back to my vampire and he runs back to the city; he gives me back control as we re-enter the room we booked. I drain the two blood bags plus three more before laying on the bed and giving in to the exhaustion.

My head was on the verge of crashing with all those mysteries that my Dad has left. She placed her arms around the Ember Ghost’s head weakly before dropping them weakly to her side. Then, the woman’s limp body slid out of view leaving the Ember Ghost standing. He wiped the remaining red stains from his mouth with a swipe of his arm before disappearing within the smoke that blew from across the float.
