I know I'm already healed but, it would be better to go back to the place where it all started. I sighed heavily and looked up. I was gripping on my bag as I watched the Eiffel Tower. I also grabbed my hair and put it on my shoulder. Then, I smiled and watched the beauty of the tallest tower I had ever seen. It may not be near me but I could feel how tall and strong it was. And I am hoping that just like the tower, I would be as strong and tough on the next days of my life.

Emily was glad things were back to normal between them again. What even was normal? They finished their ice cream and James suggested going to the Eifflel tower. It was not an odd suggestion since they were in Paris. Emily thought it was cliché for them to go there but a small part of her wanted to go. They walked down the streets together towards the Eiffel tower. Emily eyed a small flower shop along the way, her eyes fixated on a particular one. James noticed it and without another word. He grabbed the daisies, handing the woman who sold them the money.

Every ripple was capturing a reflection, street lamps, passing cars on the bridges. Behind them, the Eiffel Tower was almost touching the sky, its golden lights making it look like a huge torch watching over Paris. At the top of every hour, it burst into sparkles, a surge of diamonds against the deep blue night. The glitter scattered over the river, turning the surface into a dancing mirror of the black water. Every scene felt like a lofi dream. For a few seconds, she was just convincing herself that it's not a dream, it's real. She glanced back at Ethan, who had his eyes on her the whole time. She smiled brighter while looking at him.

Vaughn showed her the location sent to him, and she led him toward the Eiffel Fountain, which coincidentally was right next to Damien’s studio. Lila POV We walk down a staircase away from the portal. I glance up to see the Eiffel Tower in the distance, stretching above the buildings surrounding us. Paris? Wow. Okay, this is pretty cool. We’re in some sort of massive pathway for both cars and humans to walk across, in front of a building which is labelled as a hotel in big glowing letters across the front. I turn back only to see stairs leading to nothing but a concrete wall, and the humans around us don’t even glance its way.

I could have sworn that if I poked my hand a bit, I could touch the pinnacle of the hotel wall. The helipad landed on the top of a building opposite the grandeur and our next location to my utter delight was The Grandeur.
