The Guarded Obsession

The Guarded Obsession

Not even when Adrien stared back. “Adrien’s heartbeat quickened faster, and uneven, though his face stayed unreadable. He hated being watched, especially like that.” “Who’s he?” Adrien muttered to Isabella. “He’s Damien Wolfe. Security’s pick after… the threats.” She said it flat, but her mouth tightened. “Ex-military. And he starts tomorrow.” Adrien’s jaw clenched. The anonymous emails, the cryptic voicemails, he had ignored them, and deleted them. He didn’t need a guard dog. “I don’t want him.”

Alpha Santa

Alpha Santa

The guard doesn’t speak, and I don’t dare ask questions. We emerge into the woods, the towering trees casting long shadows under the blood-red sky. I can’t shake the eerie feeling that the forest itself is watching me. The guard stops abruptly, pulling a scarf from his pocket with a red symbol and thrusting it toward me. “Wear this,” he says gruffly. I take it, frowning at the embroidered wolf emblem. “Why?” He points to a massive gate up ahead, its iron bars twisting into intricate patterns. “That’s the Alpha’s mansion. Go. I’ll wait here.”

Guarding His Forbidden Mate

Guarding His Forbidden Mate

My mind was spinning, trying to keep up with the terminology. "Lady Jessica?" Beta Julian asked, turning the floor to me. "Do you have any questions or thoughts on the border patrol shifts?" I hesitated, feeling Kaelen’s gaze on the side of my face. I took a breath and decided to be honest. "Actually, yes. You mentioned that the patrols are doubled at night, but if Nathan’s men are using silver-tipped weapons, shouldn't we be focusing on long-range detection rather than just physical patrols? If they can hit us before we smell them, the number of wolves on the line doesn't matter."

The Guardians

The Guardians

And then looked at the fire crackling in front of them. “When the civilizations where young, the Lord of the Heavens chose three gifted humans to protect the chamber of knowledge and history. He chose them not because of their lineage but because for their specific gifts. One could summon any creature, both magical and mythical, another could make the elements stopped as if he lorded it while another controls the elements. They’re called the guardians. Their purpose is to protect the secrets which lies inside the Chamber and only them could access it.” “Why so, mama?” she inquired as she inched closer to her mother.

The Campus Guard

The Campus Guard

It was an awful feeling. I could barely speak without gritting my teeth. "Stop messing with me… I'm just a security guard. If my superior finds out, I could lose my job." Ms. Bombshell chuckled. She wrapped her hand around my manhood through my pants, gently squeezing it. "Think about it, Mr. Ziegler. Do you want me to give you a hand, or would you rather keep your boring job?" Her hand was small, but her grip was frightening. I found myself slowly melting away in her grasp.

GUARDED HEAT

GUARDED HEAT

"I did. You're only making it worse, so you might as well keep your mouth shut." "What—" "What Gunner was trying to say was that he wasn't just a bodyguard, as he is also one of the owners of their security agency. He and his brother founded their agency," I told Annie. Annie nodded her head. "Oh...I see..." she said as she finally understood what Gunner wanted to say. I looked at Gunner and gave him a look that says, 'See? That was easy.' He didn't say anything nor give me a reaction and just averted his gaze instead, making me shake my head.

Guarded by the outlaw

Guarded by the outlaw

Ghost waved him off, though his chest still raced. “You need to relax,” Luca yelled over the gunfire. “I can’t,” Ghost shouted back. “Not with you here.” Luca’s gaze softened for a fraction of a second. Then it hardened again as another guard came around the corner. Together, they moved, striking with brutal efficiency. Minutes later, the warehouse was secure. Cartel members were bound and restrained, their weapons collected, and the Serpents were breathing heavily but alive. Ghost and Luca stood side by side, rifles lowered, surveying the scene.

The Queen's Guard

The Queen's Guard

Maddison Spencer-Bennett The Queen's Royal Guard training coliseum was overflowing. The air, thick with the scent of damp earth and sweat, vibrated with an anticipation that bordered on violence. From the royal box, I watched the arena with a mixture of fascination and apprehension. Beside me, my mother maintained an expression of unwavering serenity, while Alonso, seated to my right, held his jaw so tightly it looked ready to crack. Alonso wasn't competing.

The Lycan King's Obsession

The Lycan King's Obsession

Bringing out his hand, they use a scanner to scan his wrist. “Kindly confirm your details” “Diego Alvarez. Beta to Alpha Jason Walsh of the goldcrest Guardians Pack,” He confirmed the details. “Let them through!” The guard shouts the gates opening slowly for them, and they drove into the territory. It was like it took me to middle age but with advanced technology. Buildings looked gloomy yet so beautiful, we were rich but this was next-level rich. I couldn’t believe my eyes. I have always known the place was a fortress, but never like this. “It’s so beautiful,” I beamed with a smile rolling down my window.

I started this book last night 10/29/22 and now am around chapter 24 and it is a very interesting story and also different than the usual wolf and Lycan stories I have read and very curious to see how it will unfold. Great job author!

I love this book, only started it yesterday and have read all chapters written(thus far) apart from the spelling and grammar errors that you get, have not been able to put the book down, it has a good plot and I'm curious to know how it ends, I like the little twist that it has.
