Was my descent to blame for my blindness and deafness? Would I ever regain my full vision and hearing? I sighed hopelessly. I could only hope—can you imagine what kind of ruler I would be if I were blind? Being both blind and deaf would make me the first Alpha King in the werewolf world. Would I be able to rule? Would it make me weak? A worried breath escaped my lips as questions flooded my mind. I was certain that my condition would leave me vulnerable. I would ultimately become a burden to the pack. I can't have that!

“I’m not normal then.” “That’s the problem.” Silence stretches between us. He exhales. “Lately, you’ve been pushing too hard.” “I’m working, Gabriel.” “No, you’re trying to prove something.” My fingers hover over the keyboard. “Ardent Global is hesitating,” I say evenly. “Because of your blindness, it's obvious,” Gabriel replies bluntly. I appreciate that about him—he doesn’t sugarcoat. “They think closing a deal with us will lead to loss,” he continues.

I say making sure to speak softly and slowly so she can read my lips. Ava was born deaf and although it was a lot to focus on when she was a small infant, with patience, time, and numerous hours focusing on learning how to sign, we were able to communicate with her perfectly. She now has a hearing aid to help her begin to hear us and has been taught to watch our mouths as we speak. Ava has always been everything we wanted in a child and watching her study me the way she does, is proof that she sees more than we think.

I replied, pausing at the end. "Deaf." I whispered. "Deaf." I said out loud this time around. "You can go with her," I said calmly, he was really smart. He already thought about it deeply. Tatashi Vandata was a deaf man, seeing someone like him should be able to poke up his softness. "And why is that? I could go with her instead."Armani said in between gritted teeths. "No," I replied. "He is blind, Tatashi Vandata is deaf." I added looking at each men in the eye.

Eva muttered in disappointment. The only time Eva cursed being blind was when she wanted to read. Eva was constricted to only a few books. Since she could only read braille books normal books remained a mystery to her. All of that knowledge and Eva had no way of obtaining it. It really annoyed her knowing she may never be able to read all the books she wanted to. All that knowledge going to waste. Misty pulled her daughter to lay in her lap and smiled. "Then it'll be just like old times."

It looks like she was blind which she was. Both of them eyed the old woman silently. She was humming and singing a song. Her behavior didn't go well with the surroundings. She is already blind this dark Clan does not bother her glorious imagination but does this quietness not bother her? Maybe she is deaf as well. This kind of illness can be a blessing in this fallen clan which looks haunted. They watched the lady as she passed by them.
