I watched the light go out of his eyes and knew he was dead before he hit the ground. Thirty seconds later, those same eyes opened again. They glowed green now instead of their original brown, and David stood up like nothing had happened. Then he turned around and started attacking the people who’d been fighting beside him just moments before. “Our dead are turning!” I roared over the noise of battle. “They’re bringing back everyone we lose!” It got worse from there, because every person we lost became another enemy we had to fight. Every small victory turned into defeat when the corpses climbed back to their feet with new masters controlling their movements.

Bruno suggested, “That's easier, it's no reason to gather around.” “Good idea Bruno,” I stated, “Except they are not a set but millions, if not trillions.” A gasp left everyone's lips and I went forward to explain, “Millions of everything that died in the past ages are back to life to kill us. We are talking about one hundred and fifty million crispy bones or more. Do you still think we can just go out there and kill them all? We fucking need a plan or we will die fighting foolishly.” Fear consumed the hall, as everyone's face turned serious.

They went to their battle stations around the fortress, ready to meet the enemies. Whoosh! Darryl could not afford to think about that. He discharged his internal energy and propelled himself into the sky. He gazed into the distance and saw millions of Death Army slowly advancing toward them. "Let's see how powerful the Death Army is!" Darryl spoke coldly, and then he waved the Heavenly Halberd. A ray of blood-red colored light condensed right away. "Blood Battle Eight Directions!" Darryl roared as he pointed the Heavenly Halberd at the Death Army!

I was livid. "It isn't my idea. If I knew where he was, would we be having this meeting? I would have launched an attack and wiped him off the surface of our world. Those with the brilliant idea of dialoguing with him can source him out and send the letter while we prepare for war. Whatever the outcome is, we will proceed from there. Still, nothing will stop me from preparing for war against those evil creatures," I said with determination. "How will we fight against things that can't die? What if they choose not to engage in noon time?" someone asked, and I shrugged.

Even in a level 9 civilization like Leila, there were very few forces with partial Pre-Deity death warriors. Most of the death warriors were Saints. David had three clones who would attack at any cost, so as long as Azul was not a Pre-Deity, there would be no chance for him to escape.
