Cursed Bride Of The Vampire Prince

Cursed Bride Of The Vampire Prince

Eric snapped at him, as he went to the fridge to take out a can of water. “Fine, but don’t come looking for me when you and your wife needs help, because in as much as I’m a bad friend for trying to save my own life and that of my son, as a result of not knowing whom the alpha will kill next after he treated you badly, trust me, I’m more of on your side than you could think of.” Jacob said, defending himself. He knew exactly that they were going to have this discussion, and he was in the wrong for not consenting to save him the first time, his wife brought up the topic about it.

Amelie is Luna

Amelie is Luna

A woman approached Jacob who was reading a book, the woman continued to watch from a distance until she approached Jacob in his chair. "Excuse me." Jacob immediately looked up at the beautiful woman in front of him. The woman smiled and said, "I see you're so focused on reading the book that you didn't notice the book was upside down." Jacob felt embarrassed and immediately turned his book upside down. He did not notice because he saw this woman. "I usually read like this," Jacob replied, shaking off his embarrassment. The woman laughed and sat down in front of Jacob. Jacob was stunned to be mesmerized by the beauty of the woman he had always liked. He never thought she would come to him.

The Cursed Luna And Her Ruthless Alpha

The Cursed Luna And Her Ruthless Alpha

He was standing just outside the ring of salt and blood they’d drawn around me, arms folded, smug as hell. His dark cloak billowed slightly from the draft that snuck in through the upper vents. His hair was messier than usual, like he hadn’t slept. But his smile was steady. Dangerous. “You have no idea what you’re doing,” I said, my voice rough. “You think controlling whatever is inside her will give you power?” “Oh, I’m not trying to control it,” Jacob said. “I’m embracing it.” He stepped closer. “See, the others—these cult fanatics—they think they’re summoning balance. They call you the counterweight. The anchor. The one soul who can either stabilize her… or end her.”

Mated to her Enemy: Refusing his Rejection

Mated to her Enemy: Refusing his Rejection

he touched the bandage “… is the Moon Goddess’s punishment.” Jacob slammed the car into gear. “Fine… Fine. You want to keep defending her, do it. I won’t say anything else about your damn mate.. But if you drop dead before we get there, I swear to the moon goddess, I’ll drag your corpse in front of her just so she can see what you turned yourself into.” Jacob scoffed, his disappointment obvious. “Fine, you want to keep defending her, do it. I won’t say anything else about your damn mate. But your head’s bleeding like hell. We’re going to see a doctor, no discussion.”

Beauty and The Beta

Beauty and The Beta

Help! I tried to pull Jacob back, though he too had already moved toward Miles the moment he had growled at us, in an attempt to defend me. As sweet as that may be, it was not the right thing to do when he would not stand a chance against a fucking Alpha! Not just any Alpha either, but a fucking crazed one… he stood no chance unless we got back up. I felt tears filling my eyes as I prayed that help came, if not, I knew that in going for Miles, Jacob was in theory signing his own death warrant...

Is this book close to being finished? I seen the author comment that it shouldn't be much more than a little over 200 but as of right now it's at 288 and not completed. Before I start is there still a significant amount left before the story is finished?

Sooo I started reading this in a different reading app and just noticed it's in this one as well. However there's a different amount of chapters between the two, there's more here than the other app? Did the story get switched/continued in this app instead? Or are the chapters the same somehow?

JAKE'S UNDOING BOOK 2 (LOVE AND OBSESSION SERIES)

JAKE'S UNDOING BOOK 2 (LOVE AND OBSESSION SERIES)

“Watch your mouth. Vanessa made it clear you left them.” “Oh, look who’s defending her,” the man spat, his tone dripping with disdain. This man must be drunk. I could get a whiff of alcohol and cigarettes in him. “You think you can replace me, huh?” he approached Jake with a challenging pace. He was a bulky man and larger than Jake, but Jake was taller by inches and was a good fighter. I fear for this man’s life. “I’m not trying to replace anyone,” Jake retorted, “She’s not here to protect her home.”

The Mafia Boss's Pregnant Bride

The Mafia Boss's Pregnant Bride

he shot back, leaning back on his bed, satisfied with his comeback. Tiffany bit her lip, suppressing a smile. He was quick, she had to give him that. But that didn’t mean she was going to let him win this. She typed her reply: “Good to know. I’d hate to think you’re still stuck on picture books.” Jacob chuckled, shaking his head at her response. “Cute. But if you’re implying I’m not smart enough for real books, I might have to prove you wrong.” Tiffany paused, wondering what he meant by that. As much as she wanted to brush off his teasing, something about Jacob intrigued her.

Winner Takes All

Winner Takes All

They knew how to pursue benefits while avoiding harm, and they could maximize their profits while they were at it. Jacob had a pride and dignity of his own. He was so arrogant that he was capable of looking down on all his so-called "rivals". That was why his figurative backbone was more firm and flexible compared to those of people like Reginald. So, in the previous events, even though Jacob had defected before, he could still sit on the fence in the end, unscathed. Even when Dominion was facing a huge crisis, Jacob still had the capacity to purchase a plot of land as a gesture of goodwill toward Austin.

Claudius, a Delta's fight for Love

Claudius, a Delta's fight for Love

"Are you, are you okay? Don't you want to talk or sit down with me?" "I'm fine. I'll be done in a little while. You can go ahead and watch TV, or go hang out with Claudius and Ethan while I finish cleaning up the apartment. I can come find you when I'm done." Jacob scratched his forehead and then pushed his pink fluffy bangs out of his eyes before tucking his black hair behind his ear. "O-ok," Jacob said quietly, his head dropping as he turned and walked down the hall. Not knowing what else to do, he sat down on the couch and looked around the room. His eyes landed on a book that was sitting on the coffee table. It was open and laid face down as if Jeremy was reading it recently.

I absolutely loved this book. Each character pulls you in and you feel invested in their story. You see how they grow and develop as the story progresses. It’s tough to see them suffer at the beginning but the ending more than makes up for it.

Lord Dhruv: The Omega fated companion.

Lord Dhruv: The Omega fated companion.

I was almost convinced that I was cursed into loving him; perhaps, that was my punishment for rejecting Calixto. With a loud bang of a door, Jacob walked out hurriedly from one of the rooms. He held a book in his hands as he headed towards the dining. Once he got there, he slammed the book on the table earning everyone's attention. He smiled. "I believe I've discovered a way to defeat Alexander—err, Dhruv," he exclaimed, almost unable to contain his joy at his discovery. Everyone stopped eating, our gaze settling on him. "You think?" Canary asked.
