The Price of Forgiveness

The Price of Forgiveness

He pushed Ethan again, then turned to take the jacket off my shoulders and throw it at Ethan. “Is this what you left for? To meet my wife for the night?” Jacob demanded. “Is she really your wife? Then you wouldn’t have been upstairs hugging and kissing—” My eyes were still lost somewhere else but I saw the snap in Jacob’s arm as he punched Ethan. “Hey—” I grabbed his arm to stop him from doing it again. Jacob looked down at me, first in shock, then in angry accusation. "You're defending him now?" Jacob snapped furiously.

His to Break: The Biker Alpha's Hated Mate

His to Break: The Biker Alpha's Hated Mate

It was the quiet certainty, the conviction of a man who believed his possessiveness was devotion. “You’re scaring me, Jacob,” I whispered. He reached up, brushing a tear from my face with his thumb, his eyes softening for a fraction of a second. “Good,” he murmured. “Fear keeps you safe.” Then he turned away. “You won’t see Draven again,” he said, voice final. “If he comes near this house, I’ll kill him myself.” The words punched the air from my lungs. “Jacob, don’t...” He looked back at me, his gaze sharp as glass. “You think I won’t? I’d burn this whole forest down before I let him take you.”

Fated To My Sister's Mate

Fated To My Sister's Mate

He was jealous. “No, no,” I responded, covering his hand with mine and hiding the trepidation that went through me at that moment. If he could be jealous over his best friend who obviously wouldn't touch me with a twenty-eight foot pole, then what would happen if he found out about my attempted kidnap? And why the hell was I still defending Jacob? I groaned inwardly but kept the smile on my face, and he stared at me for a moment before nodding satisfactorily. “Okay, baby. I'll believe you.” Then he turned and started the car.

She Was The Queen

She Was The Queen

Jacob laughed. "He's all little rough but I'm sure you'll soften him up., Yolanda added. Was that a challenge? "Is this enough?" Linda asked as she had already given me two servings. "Yes, yes." I thanked and she moved on. "I guess you can't blame him, he is the alpha. If he's soft, won't everyone walk all over him?" I found myself asking. Yolanda smiled and looked down, Jacob did too. And that was the first time I defended Khai.

The THORN LUNA

The THORN LUNA

I knocked once, then let myself in. He was seated near the hearth, a book in his lap, but I could tell by the way he stared at the fire that he hadn’t been reading. “Emily,” he said, without looking at me. “Alpha.” He set the book down slowly. Then turned. Jacob was a handsome man—objectively, I suppose. Strong jaw, thick hair, golden eyes that flickered with too much ambition. But everything about him felt artificial. His charm was a performance. His strength, borrowed. He wore power like a second skin, but it never quite fit.

Alpha’s Bewitching Regret

Alpha’s Bewitching Regret

Greta banged her hand on the table but she was once again interrupted by Jacob who glared at Logan and said, “ Pass that book to me,” his words caused Greta and Elder Maximus to snap their heads and look at him in shock. Levy could tell that even though Jacob was being subtle it was his way of refusing to accept Moira as his mate, he was asking for the book because he feared that Logan will definitely pass it to Greta or Moira causing him to be bothered by the two of them.

it's a great book so far and I can't wait to see how it ends. There are some grammar corrections that need to be made but they are not to where you can't understand the book. the book is quite long and it's the second longest book that I've read. I was disappointed that a couple of chapters are

I really liked the start of the book but started flipping through chapters and there’s a lot of filler chapters saying the same thing and honestly 700 chapters is way too much..the story line is good but waiting for something to happen made me move on to a different story

The White Crescents

The White Crescents

“You could have left. There was no point in stopping the fight Aurelia,” And we are back to using full names! “What, you enjoy beating people to a pulp?” I matched his gaze with defiance. “I enjoy beating people to a pulp when they cross their lines,” he retorted. “And, pray tell, what line did Jacob cross?” I don’t know why I was even arguing on this. Jacob? Really? Gosh! “Are you defending him?” he frowned taking a step closer. Am I? “I am not defending him. It is merely a question,” I replied without hesitation.

All Bets Are On

All Bets Are On

It makes him easier for him to ask them to do things at work, and they’ll all, without complaint, comply. After eating to their heart’s content, Jacob drove his men back to the site and bid goodbye. He’ll be spending the rest of the day at home. As soon as Jacob reached home, he rested for a while. Took a brief shower, and opened his laptop. He is going to rent the Norweigian Wood movie. Jacob finished the book as fast as he could as he wanted to pass it to Alexandra. He thought since they are book readers, why don’t they just share and lend books to each other? Of course, only those genres they share an interest in.

Darkness in our life

Darkness in our life

He just preferred to keep secrets. Suddenly I felt there were more secrets in my own family than I thought. It was true, the Wilson family was only a business family, not any mafia or something. From Lucas it turned into complete mafia property but I think some pages of the story are still missing. And only Lucas could answer that. "I need to go now." Jacob said in a low voice. Then he went towards Sil and patted her hair, with so much affection that made my imagination run wilder. "Take care of yourself. Don't act reckless anymore. And please try to keep guards around you. It's not convenient for you to roam around without security. I am going now. I will see you again."
