Delilah just kept coming, her strength and speed seemingly endless. Finally, after what felt like an eternity, Delilah pinned me to the floor, her nails digging deep into my skin. I lay there, helpless and defeated, as Delilah loomed over me, her eyes blazing with triumph. "After I'm done killing you, I'm going to go after Leah," she hissed, her voice dripping with malice. " I will kill her, and kill your babies" My mind reeled in shock. How did she know about the babies? I thought, my eyes widening in horror. But before I could even process the thought, Delilah dropped another bombshell.

She had expected to get her release at least three times in a row, so much that her legs wouldn’t stop shaking, and she would have to move going to stay with the other brother until tomorrow. “Gee, thanks Eriel.” She scoffed as she went back to her room to scrub the sweat and sex grime off of her. “At least today won’t be a complete waste.” Delilah whispered to herself. She had put sleeping chemicals in her mothers food earlier, and so she was sure that the woman would be asleep for a very long time. She stealthily made her way to Oriel’s room and let herself in, locking the door behind her. Oriel just stared at her as she came closer, and then he took his shirt off.

She stayed at my house and cooked my meals. "You don't like anyone invading your personal space." I take this time to mindlink my mother to let her know everyone is fine but the girls may need some space for now that Delilah is on her way over. Delilah walks in through the door and looks around the room until she finds us all seated on the lounges she gracefully walks over and the power emitting her keeps growing by the day she takes a seat on the arm of my recliner. Just then, Delilah burst out of her bedroom. She looked stunning in a deep green, knitted two-piece—a spaghetti-strap crop top and a mini skirt that stopped dangerously mid-thigh, paired with heavy black boots. “Has the Emperor finally retreated?” She asked, looking between me and Aria. “He's outside,” I said. “Taking a phone call.” Delilah groaned, tossing her hair over her shoulder. “See? This is what I’m talking about. He shows up, acts like he owns the air we breathe, and then ducks out to have hushed conversations with people who definitely aren't his mother.”

Adeline's POV I opened the door and there she was. Tall. Immaculate. Beautiful in that cold, sculpted way only wolves born of power could be.
