Weren’t they a pair to remember? A real honeymoon should involve a bed and a shower for two, in Damien’s opinion. Or even a jacuzzi. Instead, they were in the local bar. Separately.
Then again, this wasn’t a true marriage, so he should leave all thoughts of a true honeymoon far, far behind him. Still, as much as he wanted to deny it, saying those generic vows made possibilities available, intimate possibilities they shouldn’t indulge.
