The Necromantress and the Blood Princess

The Necromantress and the Blood Princess

I hold my arm out, palm up, offering the proof of what the book is costing me. His skeletal fingers close around my wrist. No pain at first. Just cold—so deep it burns. Then fire races along the veins, bright and violet, searing from fingertip to shoulder. I gasp (or think I do; there’s no sound here). The black threads writhe, twist, then dissolve like ink poured into flame. Gone. The cut on my palm—the one the demonkin gave me, the one that never quite closed—knits itself shut in a single breath. Skin smooths. Scars vanish.

Lai shouted a warning before Jongin shot it towards the Damontry Flame. To happen what Lay predicted, she bounced the flame towards her hands to burn them and screamed in pain. "Oh my God Damontry!". Daniel trembled as he walked toward her anxiously. Lay told him to move away and approached her to lightly grab her wrist. The second degree burn really distorted the appearance of her hand. Lay slid his hand lightly over the burn, showing a gray glow, as her skin color gradually began to change to return to the way it was, and it only took seconds.

The Hidden Princess At All-Boys Alpha Academy

And then I reach out my hand for Jackson, whose wolf is howling, horribly sad for upsetting me so much and wanting very much to be told that it’s okay. “Are your hands okay,” Jackson asks, his voice shaking as he kneels in front of me and reaches for my hand, turning it over. But I already know what we will find, because there’s absolutely no pain. When he turns my hand over in his we both see that my palm is totally fine – not a scorch on it. Because of course not – I’m a tiny fire goddess. Of course I’m immune to the burns. I exhale slowly, closing my eyes, wondering how the hell we didn’t realize this before.

Excellent storyline. Ending lacking completion. The last chapter was rushed skipped a year in the timeline. Very disappointing. Same with Julie's story. That said will the other stories be written, Rafe's, Jesse's $ Mark's?

I am really really enjoying this book! Initially, I wasn’t too keen on the double fated mates premise, but as I keep reading it all comes together. I love how exciting the story unfolds. All the characters, the smart funny banter, the friendships, character growth, and story development is awesome!

Untold Blood Oath

Untold Blood Oath

I cried out as I nursed my charred hand. The bars must be laced with silver, aconite or a combination of the two. “Ember are you awake? Ember wake up, I need you to heal our hand so it doesn’t get infected. Ember please talk to me.” I shouted at her but I didn’t get a response. I pushed myself up off the ground with my one good hand while nursing my other hand against my chest. When

The Prince Who Was Raised in Hell

The Prince Who Was Raised in Hell

In the demon cores, the vigor was surging, revealing a surging force. Just as Caspian was about to absorb it, his spiritual mind suddenly jumped. In a flash, the demon core exploded. The strong blood instantly swallowed up Caspian. Caspian frowned. The moment the demon cores exploded, Caspian’s Body-protection Gang suddenly opened, and the blood did not touch him at all. But at this moment, waves of strange aura made him feel uneasy. "Huh?" At this time, a slight pain came. Caspian looked down and found that there were several purple-black spots on his palm.

What happened to the original writer of this book? The new writer is a far cry from the first one in terms of style, creativity, dialogue and story telling. He has turned a once very arresting story into a very boring one. It is sad.

Zarah and The Seven Apocalyptic Princes

Zarah and The Seven Apocalyptic Princes

Perhaps it figured out that fighting would only result in its quick demise. “Leviathan, help me. What do I have to do?” Leviathan arrives at my side, taking my hand and placing it on the bottom of Gorshe’s chin, right where its demon core is. I feel a strong warmth coming from the core. It’s a familiar warmth that I know from my previous life—the black flame.

SUBMITTING TO THE ALPHA TWINS

The dislocated arm burned off but the demon regenerated another arm. I screamed a chorus of 'fuck' in my head while I heard Reed recite a colourful anthem of curses. I hid us in the bedroom and tried to turn on the heater. Tina and I yelped when the floorboard broke and the demon's hand reached up and tried to grab something.

The Alpha’s Shattered Mate: Her Secret Triplets

I was working in the cramped middle row, my medical kit open on my lap, trying to debride his electrical burns while the car swerved around the jagged curves of the Pacific Highway. "You need to stop for ten minutes, Killian," I muttered, my voice tight as I applied a thick layer of silver-sulfadiazine cream to his right hand. "Your peripheral nerves are misfiring. If your grip fails on one of these turns, we won't make it back to the palace at all."

The Princess And The Demon

The Princess And The Demon

Sara was grateful for Old Elliott for all his lessons, right then more than ever, and just like he told, she wanted to know the demoness’ weakness, charging forward, Sara was met by a slicing ray of fire that came out of the demoness's palm in a long thick line, evading it swiftly by jumping over it, Sara took the time the demoness used to reorient her fire beam to charge at her, in a blink of an eye she was at the face of the demoness, with her short sword held tightly in her hand, she swung it right at the demoness, but at the same time, the demoness brought up a good amount of energy to her head just to spit it out of her mouth. Even with her speed, Sara couldn't evade the flames, they hi

Contracted To The Alpha Daddy

Contracted To The Alpha Daddy

The concussion from hitting my head on the stone floor left me with headaches and occasional vertigo for weeks. But it was my hand and arm that bore the worst of it. The damage from channeling so much fire power had been severe—third-degree burns that extended from my fingertips almost to my elbow. The doctors said I was lucky not to lose the hand entirely. Even my wolf’s healing abilities couldn’t fully repair the damage. After multiple surgeries and skin grafts, I was left with a network of scars that wrapped around my palm and up my forearm. They would fade somewhat with time, the doctors assured me, but they would never disappear completely.
