I said to myself. Before I knew it, I heard noises like people running into the pack house. "What's going on?" I asked one of the maids. " The demon Alpha is here" she said fearfully. I widen my eyes. " He's here?" I asked with curiosity. I wasn't afraid. I really want to see this demon. Especially with his description in the history book. I want to see his looks. So I ran out but a guard stopped me on the way. "Ma'am, you can't leave," he said.

I hiss, trying to pry his fingers off my arm. "You're not thinking! I am your only hope of -" he freezes when the door opens wide. Ademon strides in, eyes glowing with vivid rage.

Andariel was puzzled. “We... inexplicably opened a portal. Then, we just came in.” Alex’s answer made Andariel speechless. She said, “This place is the Demon Cleansing Tower. Some people also call it the Demon Slaying Tower. It is used specifically to exterminate demons! One can enter this place, but there is no way out! You both are truly asking for it. You could’ve gone somewhere else, but you insisted on coming to this kind of place to court death! Jeez!”

I had to move fast. I turned through the pages of the spell book with shaky hands until I finally settled on what I was searching for. “Thrakos, Demon of the Underworld, Lord of Hell,” I whispered, my fingers tracing the forbidden verse. “He who commands the forbidden flames of the devil's domain,” my voice grew louder, desperation etched in my eyes, "I call thee, Thrakos. I summon thee to the mortal realm. Kneel before–” The sound of thunder cracking cut me short before I could complete my words. The ground began to rumble and the circle I had engraved on the ground expanded outwards as dark smoke clouded the entire place.

Only the vibration rattles in my chest like something trying to claw free. More footsteps—big ones—shake the floorboards. I feel them before I see anything. I scramble backward on my palms, heels slipping in blood that’s starting to cool and thicken. My nightgown is soaked through; it sticks to my legs like a second skin. Three demonkin fill the doorway. Bigger than the first one. Horns ridged with iron spikes, skin the color of old bruises, eyes like furnace coals. One of them—the tallest—sniffs the air, nostrils flaring. His lips peel back over yellow fangs when he sees me.

They would be on their knees crawling towards him by then, croaking out “Help! Please! I need water!” There’d be a moment when they would look away from him and when they’d look back Blood would be kneeled at their side, sipping on the glass in Young’s place. What little strength they had was used to scoot back but they’d back into a wall, finding themselves suddenly trapped in a cell with the Demon still sipping on his glass of ice cold lemonade that seemed to never empty. The heat never left them, somehow worse than when they were actually in the sun.

We are in a pitch black vast space and clueless about where to go or what to expect. An identical replica of the demon was wrought on the insides of the gate, looking the same as the one on the outside. The gate demon was in the centre of the doors with eyes shut, encircled by handprint etchings on the bottom left and right corners of the gate. Inscriptions “Terra” and “Demonium” were engraved left and right, in line with the demons head and the “Divus” carving was inscribed above the demons head. I growled. "Then by law of the underworld you are sentenced to death by beheading in three days time." The demon laughed, slamming down his fist. "Unless…" Unless? Looking up, I found myself wondering what would come out of the demon's mouth. "Lord Santos!" The demon roared, turning towards a lone door that sat behind him. Around the room, the creatures present let gasps and whimpers escape them. Confused about what was going on, I kept my gaze fixed on the door as it began to open.

So.. about the registration…” Audelia tried to change the subject. “Ah right, please put--” “THIS IS BAD!!” Just as Oceane wanted to answer Audelia, her words were cut by a shout and followed by someone slammed the guild’s door open. All eyes turned to the person who was panting hard. The horror on the person’s face puzzled Audelia but the words that came out of the person’s mouth made her understand. “D-De..Demons!!” The man shouted in horror, “…Demon’s gate has appeared!!”

I moan as a wave of dizziness wash over me, I vomited on the floor then rest my weight on the handle of a door to another room. The door open and I saw Damien, no demon, Damien had shifted into his Demon!, I could see the two horns on his head, something like red coal on his body, white wings, and a weapon which I had no name for. "Damien? Can you hear me please stop"I yelled? The Demon turns his attention towards me, advancing the weapon as he stalks across the room, his height was terrifying and I knew I was dealing with a monster right now.
