He gripped his scythe, whispering to its silver hilt. The blade burst into flame. He struck the falling remains, setting them afire. In an instant they sizzled to ash. All that remained was charred bits of flesh and the stink of unholy blood.

He mustn't let his mind fall into disorder! "Soul-as-blade!" With a loud shout, an a-hundred-feet-long black demonic sword suddenly appeared in the sky. Dark clouds gathered and lightning thundered. It was none other than the third transformation of the Mystic Diabolic Enchantment, the Soul-as-blade. It was a fatal attack that used true souls as a sacrifice.

Neil’s growls and snarls filled the air. Neil’s fingers turned to claws, and he slashed at the shadow, splitting it into two thick lumps, but almost immediately, the split shadow reconnected a distance away from him. The shadow moved again toward Neil. Neil stooped as Scythe pounced back with thick, more massive shadow behind him. Neil, who seemed to be accumulating power, exploded with a violent wave that crashed into Scythe and split him into a thousand pieces of shadow, dispersing across the field.

She was breathing heavily as she said the prayers.

Lucus rose higher towards the moon as the scythe shone black-- turning into a spear and he flew towards Kurosava at full speed. He smirked as he took out a knife and pointed it towards the speeding up angel of death.
