Demons In Fiction Novels & Stories

Humans thrived…they were the only ones who thrived in the void left by the departing supernaturals. And then some things couldn't leave if they tried. Ghosts, of course… but also… Demons. The soul-sucking demons lingered, enticing vulnerable or greedy beings and making them do their bidding. “Alright, so why are we reading about demons ?” Andrea asked in a slightly exasperated tone. “Just because I am old, you people think I am not aware of anything?” Beth stamped her cane and reached for a dusty book on a shelf. “I think I can find out what is troubling that human girl.”

“My name is Ignis,” he continued. A creature like him in a city apartment, her blood ran cold. Demons were the worst of all races, they came straight from hell and most of the world considered them evil. While she was gawking, he spread his arms wide to recite something inaudible. “What are you doing? Stop!” she cried at the same time when Marcus and Loyd stood at her side. She shot him, knowing there was no bullet that could hurt a demon in the magazine.

He put a cookie in his mouth and wiggled his fingers creating a pattern in the air made of smoke. “There are many demons in this land, and I don't mean here in Lutetia, I mean all over the world.” A drawing of the world map appeared among the smoke, but then disappeared. “I haven't lived long, compared to other demons I'm almost a teenager, but there are some things I know. One is that there are a lot of demons out there; they range from small guardians of the seasons to guardians of the true temples of the Astros. I am of a somewhat rare species, as well as being the only species that bears the name 'demon'."

I yell, hearing the quartz finally shatter and hundreds of demons are now see beginning to charge towards us! Five seconds, Five Seconds, FIVESECONDS!! All types and shapes, colors, and beings frighteningly gained their way to the middle of the bridge. Yielding swords, axes, bows, snapping jaws and even some two horned goat looking guy! This was my first time ever seeing demons since Bahm had started allowing me in. IT WAS A HORROR!!! I was frozen in fear. Bahm suddenly throws me to the farthest end away from him and stands in front of my body, trying to perform a spell.

Fenrir, a mythical beast known to have lived for more than 500 years. One of the few creatures who were supposedly tamed by the demon lord, powerful beasts that humanity from the past feared. Fenrir was only one of the three dog-like creatures that used to roam the lands freely when the demon lord was still alive. But theories spurred out that when the demon lord had died the creatures were bound to where they were upon his death and weren’t permitted to even move an inch from their location.

I tried to lighten my mood with a joke. “Yeah, something like that.” Hana chuckled. “So Isak is an angel, and Harris and some of the guys at DKE are nephilim. Aidan is a demon, an incubus demon, to be exact. There are three kinds of demons...” Hana started to explain. “Wait. Incubus? Like the masculine succubus? McFingers is a sex demon?” I asked.

All these creatures were shapeless; they seemed disoriented, but the only thing that really stood out was that these creatures were following Greco. “He's doing the same thing he did with the griffins and the basilisks,” I said and frowned. “What the hell are those things?” “Demons,” said the fairy fearfully. “Real demons.” I felt the tension in Selene's wings, and she looked up at the sky in anger. However, she rose forcefully upward and then screamed so loudly that the creatures covered in pitch saw her. They shook violently, and the pitch left their bodies and returned to the pit.

Tapping a button on my phone, light brightens the room, Liam’s figure filling the doorway, blocking the space beyond. Perching on the edge of the desk, I wait for him to enter. To speak. To knock me back into the unforgiving surface and drive a dagger into my heart. Or even his dick into my core. That would be preferable to the knife. Despite what many think of demons, we aren’t actually dead, not really. Our souls belong to the devil, but our bodies are held in a suspension of life, something like a purgatory. It means, like any other creature, we can die, we can procreate, we need nourishment. We’re not as different as the other creatures of the world may think. But lore is strong when you

And that was without stopping to keep up appearances. Daemons were the supernaturals I knew the least about. They generally kept to their territory, deserts and the plains. I know it was whispered that they were fallen angels from a religion long since dead since the Fall. But since they were made up by ifrits, djinn, and some higher level spiritual entities, it had been decided that they were simply another race, much like Fae and Weres. Once worshiped as gods, and then forgotten until the Fall brought them forward again.

Bram murmured something I couldn’t quite catch to himself, but offered no suggestions. The witch’s equivalent to a lycan was a demon. Demons were the near immortals that spawned several paranormal species, similar to how lycans were responsible for all shifters. Similar to lycans, no one really knew their origin story, or who the first was. It was fun to compare and contrast the origin stories, though.
