They spent so long ensuring they didn’t need each other too much that they came to wonder if they needed each other at all. David’s depression had been getting steadily worse for quite some time. When he was made redundant he went into a sharp decline. His firm gave him a generous settlement. He didn’t have any monetary problems, but he depended on work to keep his black moods at bay. He needed to remain active and stay one step ahead of them.

It was beautifully written, like a psychopath has written a novel for the very first time. After long hours of thinking and pondering so hard and digging through my creative juices, I came back completely frustrated that I wanted to burst out into crying. Not only I was disappointed with myself, but I was also saddened to know that my readers and my work colleagues, who had deeply invested and got engrossed in my masterpieces, will all be disappointed. As the author that they admired once, looked up to, and looked forward to, are now deemed to fail.

The fact that she has low self esteem and is close to depression to begin with affects her behavior as well. The reason I have written this is because I wanted to write something horrible, wrong and disgusting. I would be very happy if you give me constructive critique and positive feedback. I consider a comment like ‘This is disgusting!’ to be positive feedback on this story, since that is the feeling I am after.
