"Create…a lycan?" Alpha Derek’s gaze burnt into him. "We both know those murders weren’t done by a werewolve or a panther shifter. They were done by a lycan." His voice dropped to a near whisper. Anna justified. “I know what he is.” She answered calmly. “I saw him.” Her voice trembled for a moment. “The fact that you and his Beta are seeing each other and all, which I won’t think about, speaks for itself.” She said, making Ana’s cheeks blush. “What do you mean?” She asked her, confused. “I think he was able to smell me in contact with Derek, as he sensed that I was in danger, even though he didn’t mark me, because he is a Lycan, and a king.” Her voice took on an angry tone.

His gaze shifted back to Vivica, and this time it lingered. Before I could react, he moved with supernatural speed, closing the distance between them in a heartbeat. He took her hand gently, almost reverently, and lifted it to his lips, pressing a brief kiss to her knuckles. "Miss Vivica," he said as he straightened, his posture flawless.
