Destiny Ex Wife Novels & Stories

Chapter 12: The Ex-Wife The silence after Damien hung up on Elena felt heavier than it should have. I was still lying on top of him, our bodies pressed together, his release slowly leaking down my thighs. My heart was racing for an entirely different reason now. The venom in that woman’s voice had cut through the afterglow like a knife. Elena Voss. Damien’s ex-wife. Alex’s mother. The woman who had once shared his life, his bed, and his last name.

I planted a kiss on his cheeks, picked up my purse, and left the room to the carriage. I arrived at Elijah's house with Elena, three of the palace maid, and three guards, including Travis. “Isn't that Alpha Elijah's ex-wife?” That was the first word I heard when I entered the house. “I heard he is getting married to his ex-wife's sister, What a shame, The family is crazy for allowing such, At least, she got lucky and married the Lycan, What if she bewitched him? Alpha Elijah's present wife is already pregnant, Maybe this is their real destiny.”

I plaster a sweet smile on my face and stare into gullible green eyes, "Thank you so much for that, Colin. You know, I really needed to hear it, and I'll think about it." Like he's ever going to get a chance to sleep with Tracy Woods now that Destiny has taken everything from me. I walk away feeling good that I didn’t slam Colin’s head into a pillar but that feeling dies down quick because, Destiny! Destiny took my position as Luna. She took Coren and Jack, my husband and son, and now, she's pregnant. She could give birth to a child that will later be considered the future heir of this pack! I can't let that happen. I will never watch that happen.

* Flashback * ‘I, Destiny, wolf of Liara Haysbert and daughter of the Moon Goddess, Selene, use my human’s innocent soul to curse you that you will end up losing your beauty, your fame, and everything you love.’ ‘Destiny, please don’t do this. I’m begging you, please! Tiara said, kneeling on her knee. ‘Selfish as always, don’t you? This curse will end when you sacrifice your life selflessly for someone else, and no power on earth can change it.’

Cass heads for the door. “You’re welcome,” Jayden calls after her. I grab Jayden by the tie and yank him back toward me, our bodies close again. “Consider yourself reclaimed, Husband.” His eyes spark. “Consider me yours. Always.” And just like that—my CEO husband is mine again. We’ve gone from a divorce I thought I’d never get over to a destiny I could never have imagined. Not because we have it all figured out. Not because it’ll be easy. But because we’ve survived everything. And we’re not done yet.

“Or else, I’m going to have my own ways and have it on your so-called family. The future was at stake of your hands.” Four decades ago, Destino cleared his relationship with Danie. He knows he have to end a tie with her after she have lose their child. He proves himself he deserved something to be taken care of than always reminiscing how their relationship went complicated and unfaithful. But Destino doesn’t have the most easiest access to his purpose. He did face a lot of obstacles and was even in a great pain as his stabbed waist open up. His wounds wasn’t properly stitched. It even have a lump surrounding the affected area. He cried in excruciating pain.

“We shall take our leave now.” Just as he rose to his feet, Roger recalled their previous conversation and asked him, “Yes, you mentioned someone,” he paused, recollecting the name. “Destiny, trying to harm my wife. Who is he?”

“I heard your little conversation. I didn't mean to, I mean I was here first but I did hear it. And I know that you hate Xaden.” “Last chance before I leave your deadbody for that fucker to find…” the stranger hissed at me, taking on angered step forward. I moved back immediately, sucking in a breath. “I'm his ex wife…” I blurted out. His expression morphed into shock for a brief second. “Look, you and I seem to have a common goal here. Xaden and I were married before he found her. I want my husband and it seems you want her too…” I hinted the last bit with a smile and I watched the man relax, his stance returning back to normal.

Charles started, "On the way here I heard from someone that Clarence's ex-wife is also living in this house, right?" The words caused Dempsey's countenance to slightly shift. Neither did he acknowledge it nor refute it. Charles went on, "I won't meddle in the Conrad family's business. Just because Clarence and Phoebe are getting married in a month, it makes no sense from an emotional or practical one to have his ex-wife residing here any longer. How does it strike you, Mr. Conrad?" Dempsey was unable to inform Charles that Stella was pregnant in these conditions. With all of his hesitation, he had to say, "Mr. Steward, you're right."

"A wise ex-husband should behave like he's dead. Take good care of the people around you." After that, Emily turned around and left, leaving behind Hunter, whose face was as dark as water, and Veronica, who was trembling with anger.
