Damien shakes his head slowly, like he doesn’t want to believe me but knows I’m right. He leans closer, arms braced on the table. “You’re too calm about this. You do realize this is going to detonate everything, right? Her, them, us.”
“That’s the point,” I say, scrolling through encrypted folders and dragging them into the secure leak channel we built. “We’ve been digging this grave for years. Now we push them in.”
He doesn’t move, doesn’t blink. His voice drops. “And what about her? Do you ever think about what this is doing to her?”
