I don't know what's worse-the fear of seeing him again or the fear of what I'll feel when I do. When the door finally opens, my body betrays me again. My pulse spikes, my breath hitches, my skin prickles with heat. It's him. Dante steps inside, suit crisp, dark hair swept back, eyes gleaming like the devil himself. He doesn't even look at the mess on the rug. His gaze goes straight to me. "Good evening, doll." "Go to hell." His grin is slow, deliberate. "Still keeping me company, I see."

“You should have thought twice before trying to make a deal with the devil. Once you make a deal with the devil, there's no going back." His voice is so deep and husky. Is he referring to himself as a devil? I can't help but think that he's one. His presence alone is ready to make you tremble in fear. I still wonder where I got the courage to ask this man to be my boyfriend. I always saw him from a distance and the only day I was close to him was the day I asked him to be my boyfriend. I saw a surprised look that flickered in his eyes. I'm sure he was surprised that a girl like me wants to make a deal with him.

The voice suddenly became frantic, "Mom, you should have more pride and leave together with me! If you cause a scene like a loser, I'll be so disappointed!" I jumped onto my bicycle and raced toward the military compound. Just as I caught sight of the wedding venue, a hand shot out from the darkness and dragged me into an alley. "We've been watching you for a long time, you little witch. Finally got you alone!" "We've been waiting for ages, and now we're going to have our fill!" Several thugs pinned me against the wall. As their hands reached for my pants and I saw their lecherous faces clearly, my blood turned cold.

The guy kept sobbing, and when he faced her, it was clear that he was stunned for a moment before he got over it and told her what happened. "I never thought I'd meet a devil in person. How much more working for him?" He said that in between his sobs as he glared at the highest floor of the building. "I don't have a job now," his shoulders hung low. In order to comfort the man, she patted him. "Don't worry, you'll find another one," she said, sounding reassuring, even though she herself didn't have a job at that moment. "By the way, what happened? Who's that devil you're talking about?"

I wriggled in my seat and picked up my things preparing to leave, but Grey stopped me. "Meet Alex first, he's the captain of our team, and he's actually a genius like you Bud, you're going to like him" Grey said, but my head was in a turmoil as I try to think of a reason to leave. 'I see danger reeking off of that man!' The guy sat across me and I turned my head down refusing to look at him. Grey was telling me to say hi, but I didn't budge. I scarcely sense this kind of feeling, but most of the time I'm right. So I choose to trust my instinct.
