Dexter arrived at his study and the guards in the entrance bowed, opening the door for him to enter. He walked into the room, greeted by the dark gloomy place. Settling into the chair, he picked up a few scrolls and began doing hsu work. A knock came on the door and he paused, glancing at the door. He beckoned for whoever is behind it to come inside, getting back to work. The door opened and a burly figure walked in, but with a with a much more welcoming aura. Closing the door behind him, he inclined his head.

"And I think it's time we involved you." I felt a surge of confusion, unsure of what he was talking about. But before I could ask any questions, Dexter continued. "You see, we've been studying the human mind," he said, his eyes glinting with excitement. "And we've made some incredible breakthroughs." I leaned forward, my heart pounding in my chest. What kind of breakthroughs? And what did they have to do with me? But before I could ask any questions, Dexter leaned forward, his eyes fixed intently on mine.

“That's exactly what I want to ask, Alpha. Are you okay with spending your precious time like this?” Dexter leaned forward slightly, his smile reappearing, cold and piercing. “That's why I'm doing it. Because I'm serious. Dexter dropped down onto the floor beside Adrian and joined the tower-building, and for a few minutes, the questions crowding his mind went quiet too.
