I’m glad to finally be done with my shift at the diner. These late night shifts kill me, but I work during the day at the daycare my mom now manages. She used to run a babysitting gig in our house when I was younger, but as my mom got older she struggled to keep up with the smaller kids. Inevitably, with her bad back it made sense for her to stop running the babysitting gig. So, she ended up getting a manager position at one of the local daycares. She has so much experience and wisdom to give to the center.

“I think so too. Do you have any good daycare recommendations? My son is a bit difficult when meeting new people.” “My cousin has a child the same age as your baby boy. She is also as busy as you because she works in a lab. So every day she and her husband take their daughter to daycare around the city center. I'll ask her for the daycare contact." “Thanks. You are more helpful than my husband. He just walked away, without giving me a solution.” Scott chuckled. “I think the only solution he can offer you is to take your son to class.” Shanon rubbed her face in frustration. “I hope everything goes smoothly this time. I sputter quietly. "I would recommend getting one," she advises. "Diapers are a lot cheaper there, and if it's a boy, the only diapers that hold Theo overnight are the Sam's Club brand." "Oh. Okay." I don't know how else to respond. Not only am I in disbelief, but I'm so appreciative of the information part of me wants to keep asking questions. Quincy is the only mom I know, and she was never pregnant with Chance. He's her biological nephew, and she didn't get custody of him until he was two months old. The time frame before that is just as lost on her as it is on me.

I would make plans to move into his room with him as well in the coming days. I redo my hair and apply a small amount of make-up. Donning my favourite blue dress, I put on a pair of flats and decide to head to the daycare. I love spending time with the pups and the teachers there. They have embraced me fully and I am making fast friends with the group. We have already discussed expanding the daycare to include a couple more younger ages that could be supported for an early childhood education program. Nothing intense but something that would put them ahead of other kids their age. Things to think about.

When I wasn't sleeping, I was going at it with my mates or touching myself. "We are leaving for the day care in 20," Nyra informed me at her desk in my office.
