I watched them bond over the weekend dinners that Aaron was let home. And now, she probably wondered why he wasn't here anymore, she probably hurt without her even knowing. God I needed to stop thinking, I shook my head and brought the car to a halt at the Blue Lily daycare. ***** The daycare smelled of apples and Crayon wax, bright and warm, a bubble of color and noise. Kids raced past me with paint-smeared hands and tangled hair, laughter echoing like wind chimes. “Good morning, Gil!” Sophia—the daycare attendant, beamed at us, her sunflower apron already splattered with green and red paint.

I tell them After they leave my mom and I start putting things away in the nursery. I decided to hang up onesies and shirts but everything else goes in the dresser. Luckily the nursery has a walk in closet so I can store all the diapers and wipes in there. We got so much diapers I couldn’t believe it. We got sizes from newborn all the way up to size 4. There was a big room for the small babies, a room for toddlers, there was a place for older kids in elementary to play, as well as a place for older kids up to high schoolers to hang out and do homework. Danny had even gone to the extent to hire people to work exclusively for the daycare. I had asked him not to since I thought maybe we could all take turns pitching in a few hours of volunteering, but he looked over the budget and saw that our sales have been so good that we can afford to hire a crew for the daycare alone.

"Yeah, that sounds amazing." ♕♕♕ I had always thought my old pack's daycare center was lovely. It was a medium sized room, decorated with handme-down furniture from pack members. Axel says with a frown. “Sorry, I didn’t mean to offend, we are just so overrun. Most of the kids have been medically cleared to leave, but there is nowhere for them to go, so now we are running a daycare as well as trying to heal actual patients,” she explains as an alarm begins to sound in another room. The nurse excuses herself and rushes back out of the room just as Deacon walks in and looks at the little girl holding Mason’s hand with raised brows.

A around of applause sounded for her before she sat down again. “Mr. Kent is the Director of the Advanced learning center.” A male next to her stood up. He was going grey but I saw some of the women start to giggle. “There programs are for advanced studies for all ages, testing center, on-line schooling options and college courses.” Another round of applause but this was was more women. I guess the term silver fox would be appropriate. “Mrs. Planters- Director of Early childhood Development center, a 24/7 daycare for working parents from birth to 5 years of age.” Another women next to Mr. Kent stood up. She looked like a Barbie doll with long blonde hair and pencil thin legs.

Debra sighed. Soon, Randy and Marion rolled in. Erica lit up like they were her lifeline. "You're back. He peed," she cried. Randy grabbed Solomon, soothing him. Debra had swapped the diaper. "I'll get the sheets changed," he said. "No fuss." The pickup truck outside was loaded with infant products. The guard unloaded them into carts and wheeled them in batch by batch. Debra and Erica gawked. "Aren't these too much?" "Nah," Randy replied. "I calculated. Ten diapers a day per kid. 200 packs isn't much. Marion's the real nut, buying these skirts, Barbies, and the like. And he got 600 packs of diapers, emptying the store."

"That sounds lovely. I hope she doesn't disturb" I chuckle. "No. There's a daycare at PHT now because most of the workers bring their kids to work and it's kind of that day....you know the bring your kid to work day" "When was that invented?" Fabrico asked with a chuckle. "A while back" I smile and chew a green pea. "Maybe we could stop by your office?" "You don't need to take permission love. It's my office as much as it's yours" he walked to the bed just to kiss me on the forehead then he walked into the dressing room.
