Marissa asked. Jade shook her head. She was too wrapped up in what she was reading to respond to her. The more intently she searched, the more her name started to stand out amongst all the jumbled words. "I think it's a diary," she finally mumbled before taking out her phone. Jade flipped back to the beginning of the journal and focused the lens onto the page. The shutter of the camera resonated throughout the room.

exclaimed Jane, trying to free herself. I let her go immediately, stepping back. "And now, Jane? How do we go on from here?" I asked, angrily. "We don't," replied Jane, trying to show coldness. She tried to show coldness with her gaze, but her eyes were filled with tears. "Look, Daon has told me enough about you to know that you're the type who hooks up and doesn't get attached, the type who is with a different girl every day and then doesn't even remember their names. I shook my head and give in to the battle inside of my head. If the diary bring chaos then I am willing to dive into it just to know what is inside. The date appeared to be 8 years ago, and I was just a teen when this diary was written. A beautiful cursive stroke of name was plastered at the left side of the leather opening as if the owner intended to do so to emphasize that it was owned by a woman. I hitched my breath when I read the name of the late senator. Antonniete Maricriz Smure, even her name sounded so elegant and beautiful. I caress the carve and realize how old this diary is.
