I asked, pushing my own confusing thoughts about Eleanor aside for the moment.
"He filed for an execution," Severus replied, his voice flat. "Which has been delayed lately due to the war, of course."
"Have them executed then," I commanded, the words coming easily. I'd never truly liked Margaret or Dolores. I'd always, deep down, wished them dead, and this simply legitimized it all, offering a convenient way to be rid of them.
"I don't think we should execute them anymore," Severus said, his words unexpected, a slight pause before them.
