The Alpha King's Breeder

The Alpha King's Breeder

Hard. Blood seeps into the ground around his face while the crowd jeers. I turn, grab Meg’s arm, and race to the far edge of the platform. “JUMP NOW!” I scream, and then we’re hurling through the air. Chessie managed to clear the jump to the second platform already, some twenty feet off the ground, but with Meg’s added weight, I struggle to maintain my momentum and then my grip as we collide with the side of the platform. I clutch Meg’s arm, but she dangles, her entire body flush with the blood-stained wall while I somehow manage to grab the edge. Chessie grabs my arm, yanking with all of her might, but she’s the smallest of the three of us. Meg finds a notch in the side of the platform and

These books have been my lifeline. I am crushed to reach this point and have to leave this beautifully tragic world and all its perfectly flawed characters. I can't wait for the next update, and honestly hope (though I know it is in vain) we get to follow this family tree for even more generations.

Vows of convenience Hearts in Collision

Vows of convenience Hearts in Collision

The creature lunged again, and Caelum struck, using every ounce of his strength to push it back. I swung the pipe, hitting one of the creature’s legs. Sparks flew, it faltered but it wasn’t done. Its sensors glowed brighter, fury radiating through the metal frame. The descending ceiling was almost upon us. My lungs burned, adrenaline screaming through every vein. Every heartbeat was counted, every movement a potential last one. Then Caelum grabbed my hand again. “Jump!” We leapt just as the ceiling slammed into the floor where we had been standing moments ago, crushing the metal below into sparks and smoke. We hit the next platform hard, rolling to absorb the impact.

Through The Storm

Through The Storm

I didn’t mean it but my voice shook as a reply. “One.” As Trei began to count, I felt Byron holding my hand and inching closer to me. “If you want me to carry you on the jump just say so and admit that I am older.” I know that he was only doing it for the sole purpose of distracting me and it worked. I scoffed at him and rolled my eyes. “You wish.” “Two.” Byron and I got to our feet slightly as we prepared ourselves for the jump. “Three!” Trei never slowed down, but we still took the jump. Thankfully the snow was thick enough that it cushion our fall. Byron and I scrambled to our feet and began to run straight ahead.

Her Angels (Reverse Harem)

Her Angels (Reverse Harem)

I yell back down to him. Strong arms suddenly grab me and pull me away from the rocks and carry me the rest of the way up until I'm placed onto a rock that sticks out just a little higher then the water around it. Damien moves back, keeping himself in the air as he watches me while I prepare to jump. With no other clothes with me, I remove my tank top and shorts before tossing them up for Damien to hold on to. Flexing my back, I take a deep breath before jumping off the rock and down towards the water below.

’ Leia added. Anna smirked and got low to the ground. Before Riley could come after her, she jumped. She could jump as high as Denice could, but Avery was still lacking in that department. Whenever they jumped in the air, it’s as if time was suspended. It was only because of their speed.

My Boss’ Secret Is My Undoing!

My Boss’ Secret Is My Undoing!

Frederick bent his knees, crouched low, and sprang up like a leopard on the hunt. He jumped at a forty-five-degree angle instead of straight up. At the peak of his jump, he used his strong core muscles to momentarily hover in the air. Then, with a powerful kick against the wall, he propelled himself even higher! This allowed him to reach for the windowsill, with only the pads of eight fingers gripping the ledge supporting his entire body weight. The muscles in his arms tensed up, and with a burst of strength from his fingers, he flung himself upward.

MATED TO THE WEREWOLF AND THE VAMPIRE.

MATED TO THE WEREWOLF AND THE VAMPIRE.

And then I was up. Not the usual way a person got up off the floor. I didn't roll, didn't push myself up slowly, didn't take a second to find my footing. My body just … moved. One sharp, explosive motion that brought me straight up off my back and onto my feet in a single fluid jump, then landed clean and steady like the floor was exactly where I'd intended to launch from. No stumbling. And no adjustment either. Just up … fast and controlled, like gravity was more of a suggestion than a rule that applied to me.

Thanks for Skipping Dress Day

Thanks for Skipping Dress Day

*** By the time Skeet pushed through the glass doors, it was already dark. He didn't even know why he came. To question Norah? Thank her? Or just... get an answer. How did he lose seven years, step by step? The elevator opened. The hallway sat quiet. Everyone was gone. Except one office at the end, lights still on. Norah's. Skeet stepped up to the door. Before he could push it open, her voice slipped out. "Oh, stop rushing me... I know, I know..." Low. Sweet. Fake.

The Author: Back To High School

The Author: Back To High School

This gave them a clearer idea on how to position themselves. “Now then, shall we try it?” “Okay!” Fortunately, Dawn wore stretchable pants and a sports bra under her shirt. Janus stood behind Dawn while Hugo and Kirk stood on each of her sides. “Ready, go.” Kirk bent his right knee while Hugo bent his left knee. Their free leg abducted and angled diagonally. As they did this, Janus had placed his hands on Dawn’s hips to support her as she jumped to Kirk and Hugo’s thighs. She then raised her fists in a ‘V’. As the boys brought her down, her fists tucked in close to her hips.

Luna of the Menae

Luna of the Menae

Oh, no you don’t, you motherfucker. In my peripheral vision, I see Doctor Khe and Arrow. They’re speaking to me, but I can’t listen to them right now. I steady myself, straining under the weight, then take a small step forward, then another, and another. I feel the log slipping, but there’s no way I’m letting that shit happen now. I lower my legs into a deep squat and forcefully jump. My back strains with the movement, but I ignore it and take another step. Every move is incremental, but its progress.

This story was “ABSOLUTELY PHENOMENAL”!! I love love loved it!! So well written & very descriptive!! The characters had such depth! My favourite characters were Bronx and Kas(Iokaste), of course!! They went through “SO” much, but made it through!!
Sarah Geer
Love this book and this author. She has found a way to write two books that seem like completely different stories but then happen to intertwine at an unexpected point. Ever chapter she posts leaves me wanting more. I can’t wait to continue reading this series!
