The Tyrant's captive bride

The Tyrant's captive bride

“What story? I write?” Elias nods and pulls out his phone to show me some pictures. “Yeah. You’re an author. You draw your own novel arts too. The story was about a tyrant’s captive bride. Dark romance stuff. You never finished it though. I found the book in your backpack.” The psychiatrist thinks your brain was living in the story while you were out. Mixing the accident trauma with the plot you were working on. That’s why it felt so real.”

Becoming his Salvation

Becoming his Salvation

he shouted and I hurriedly put my palm on his wound to prevent the blood from coming out. “I’m calling the doctor. Please hold it here.” I said, grabbing his hand and pressing it on the wound while I ran to open the door where I saw Lorenzo and Luca standing. “Help him. Please help him.” I said and they both came running inside the room. ----- In this story, my ML is suffering from DID, which is commonly known as dissociative identity disorder. Romeo is calm and mysterious, while Domenico is teased and blunt. Both are dangerous in their own way. And my ML had this problem because of his past, which would come to light as the story unfolded itself.

I'm Out of Your League Now

I'm Out of Your League Now

What? Mentally ill? How could a perfectly normal person like Pierce develop a dissociative identity disorder? And was this his alternate personality? "Why… why would he suddenly develop a dissociative identity disorder? He was fine all this while." "Back then, he suffered intense trauma when he was kidnapped, and that was when I emerged. At first, I wasn't that strong, but Pierce slowly let his guard down because of you." Pierce suddenly moved closer. His deep eyes were filled with unfathomable shadows as he stared obsessively at her.

little bit misunderstanding is fiiine.. but I don't like such stupid plots with leads deliberately making remarks that'd let other lead to misunderstand and then each continue to live in their own delusional world making conclusions about each other. it's agonizing to read such stories...

The story still shows ongoing but there was no update today and the last update ended with a chapter not even a page long. Can we please get an update or at the very least a final chapter for Millie and Pierce’s happily ever after?

Princess of Faerl

Princess of Faerl

We knew from her testing during her prenatal checkups that she was genetically fine. “Oh, psych meds.” She is speaking so casually. Meanwhile, her mom and I look so confused at this point. We don’t understand. “I was diagnosed with Dissociative Identity Disorder when I turned 13.” She shrugged as if this was just part of life. “I heard voices no one else could and saw things no one else did. So the step-witch sent me to a psych. It suppresses it some, but I still hear voices and see things.”

In the Name of the Sacred Tree

In the Name of the Sacred Tree

William was a 50-year-old literature professor. The second person was Milligan. This Milligan was a formidable rebel. He was very fond of communism and was fluent in Russian. The third person was Sybil. She was a caring 35-year-old housewife who was capable but chatty. “You have dissociative identity disorder. You have three personalities," Dr. Fareeda explained. "Oh my god," I curled up. Doctor Fareeda started to explain what happened while I was on the drug, what events, and who was responsible, as I forgot. Then Dr. Fareeda re-played the recording.

Master Blair's Fiery Pursuit

Rory stared back at him, silent. Paul continued, "Rory, you have to understand that dissociative identity disorder is a severe psychological disorder characterized by a split personality. While ordinary individuals may have dual or multiple thought patterns in life, the difference between them and patients with dissociative identity disorder is that ordinary individuals can autonomously control their thought processes and decisions unaffected by external influences. Patients with dissociative identity disorder sometimes cannot control themselves. “Your current condition has reached the most severe stage. Not only can you not control your alter ego, but you may also be controlled by it in rev

I was reading this story on HeyNovel but it was called Mr. Goodwin, Your Ex-wife is a stunner and have different character names. The story is good but stopped updating at chapter 300. Excited that I found it here and looking forward to continuing the story.

I absolutely LOVE this story! I wish I could give it more than 5 stars! I have been unable to put my phone down since I started reading it. I do have one complaint, though...I wish the author would do some proof reading before posting the chapters onto this app because there are quite a few typos

The Impossible Fate That Leads To A God Of A New World

"I know the three of you might not like it, but I need everyone to listen to what he's about to say, and every of it that he said is nothing but the truth. You may not like it, but I hope you will remain patient till the bitter end." "…I had Dissociative Identity Disorder (DID)," I said. "In simpler terms, I had two persons sharing my body— and they are all me." "Two persons…?" Snow Leopard Queen murmured. "Then does this means you are the unification of those two persons?" "Exactly!" "When he's in such a state, you could definitely put your hopes on him," Dómr said to them. Then, he stares at Restia. "I believe no one other than the young mistress knows that clearly enough."

Into the Mind of Fictional Characters

Into the Mind of Fictional Characters

Realizing there was no escape from the situation and being okay with it. I held my breath though I'm not sure why. It would only make me suffer. I once read in a book that drowning was a peaceful way to pass, just one intake of water and your lungs can no longer work properly. It's like going to sleep and never waking up. For a split second I thought about doing it, just to get the pain I was feeling to be over. I paid attention to my heartbeat. I held my breath though I'm not sure why. It would only make me suffer. I once read in a book that drowning was a peaceful way to pass, just one intake of water and your lungs can no longer work properly.

A FAKE LIFE

A FAKE LIFE

The hairs on my arms stand taut on my skin, and I turn to my feet with the utmost caution. The black figure that is sitting on my bed has in his hands my Machiavellian Little Red Hood book, a version that a psychopathic writer wrote a few years ago, they are the same characters from the children's story but with a more disturbing look. Little Red Riding Hood is a teenager with dissociative disorder, she heads through a dark forest to the house of her old and wrinkled grandmother. This girl who has two faces, one is mom's little angel and the other a nocturnal monster that fucked travelers and campers in the forest, ripping off their private parts when they finished. The development of the st

THE VENGEFUL LUNA

THE VENGEFUL LUNA

With all my vast experience, I consider myself uniquely qualified for this profession. I move with the throng into the large classroom and find a seat toward the back. I take my notebook and my new pen, a gift from Gray, out of my bag. Today we’ll be discussing trauma and the various ways in which the personality seeks to defend and heal itself. The other day my professor made an interesting comment: “No one ever talks about issues like dissociative identity disorder, fugue, or psychotic breaks in anything but the most negative light. No one ever talks about how the personality does this type of thing to protect itself, to save itself, or how powerful and effective it is.”
