Jason chimed in with a teasing tone, "seems like you had quite the adventurous dream! Big boobs and a bountiful booty, huh? You must have been having the time of your life!" Damian, still trying to shake off the confusion, managed a sheepish grin. "Wait! It was a Dream?, well, dreams can be wild, right? But seriously, where are we and why am I naked?" Jason continued to tease, unable to contain his laughter. "Oh, you're in for a treat, my friend! Looks like you had a sleepwalking escapade. And as for the clothes, well, let's just say your transformation was a tad too rough on them."

"Are your feet okay?" Nate asks after a minute of us walking. I pause and look down at the forest floor. There were rocks everywhere and pine needles and spiky sticks. I was just walking over them with my bare feet without a second thought. "You know. To be honest with you, I walk around barefoot so much that I don't think my feet even have feeling anymore." "A true adventurer." Nate says with a grin. I smile and look away as we keep walking. "Hey, can I ask you something?" He asks. I nod, glancing at him. "Who was that girl? Ike wasn't interested in answering my questions after I knocked you out."

It was still clear and crisp but the trees weren’t the same and the grass wasn’t the same. My feet were bare and I was wearing the sweats that I had on when I fell into bed after my shower. The grass felt cool and I thought this dream was surprisingly realistic for what I had been dealing with the past months. Though the first time I dreamed about him was an experience I don’t think my ass would forget. I shivered from the memory.

We were on our own out here. “Brock,” Katie called when he strode ahead of us. “Huh?” “Why are you walking barefooted?” His shoes were dangling on his backpack. Looking down, he was walking without them. “Oh, the weather isn’t that hot. I feel like I’m strolling on a beach.” Our fellow newcomers started to take off their shoes when they overheard our conversation. I understood why when they hung their socks and shoes upside-down to pour out the sand. “Um, you should put your shoes back on,” I said in alarm when something was moving about a few meters away.

“My feet are fine.” “Good to hear it – or rather see it,” Lacey said with a grin. “I’m sure our footwear will be fine here at the table until we return.” She placed her shoes next to the table. Blake did the same. They began to walk. “How does it feel?” “What?” “The sand – on your feet.” “Warm and gritty,” he answered bluntly. Lacey snickered. “It doesn’t feel freeing to you?” “No. Just a bit strange,” Blake said with slight confusion. “Why do people make such a big deal of walking barefoot in the sand?”

Felza's POV FOUR YEARS LATER “Halo, Oh my God!” I yelled, dragging her away from the kitchen. She placed her small hands on mine, trying to pull my hands away, but I shook my head and halted, “Halo, what did I tell you about trying to make a dish?” she lowered her gaze, circling her toes on the ground, “and what did I tell you about wearing your shoes.” she tucked some loose strands of her hair behind her ears, smiling from ear to ear, “Mother, walking barefooted helps me walk faster. Walking with the shoes slows me down.” I facepalmed myself and sighed, “Halo, everyone walks around with shoes. You have to get used to it.”

Most nights, anymore, I dreamt of wolves, of the woods, of Ben sometimes, of my friends in California, or some mixed up version of all of them. This dream was different. It seemed so real… vividly real. I was wearing the same oversized T-shirt and shorts I’d had on when I’d fallen asleep. I was in the woods, walking, and it was night. I had nothing on my feet. Despite the fact that I knew I had to be dreaming because I had already gone to bed, the leaves crunching beneath my feet felt real, as did the earth.

We were running out of time. After the dream walk, I had managed to dress her before she woke. I’d only gotten as far as donning my own pants before I had to leave the room so she didn’t suspect anything. However, her response when she saw me shirtless had been worth it. *’The way her eyes had roamed over me, the blatant desire in her gaze…’* I shivered, trying to force the fantasy from my mind. I just had to get Trisha through this, and hopefully, the dream walking would be enough to tide her over.

I glance left and right then behind me but there is no sign of someone. "Hello!? Where am I?" I noticed that my feet were bare and that I didn't even have my pants on, my chest was also bare. I am naked! Why am I walking naked on this dark path? Am I dreaming? Questions were spiraling inside my head and yet I have not one single answer. My heartbeat began to race, and my hand clamped on my chest as I felt it beating wildly like it was going to explode inside. "Ugh! Can someone please help me!"

➳ Pernwél Illuminated by the moonlight, I follow the path laid out in front of me. It looks as if the trees have moved out of the way to make space, leaving roots and lifting the ground in their wake. As I kept walking through the dark forest, the snow cracked beneath my feet. Just then, I realised I’m barefoot and wearing nothing but a thin white nightgown. I can’t sense the cold feeling between my toes as the snow and ice slips around them. I should feel ice-cold by now. Strangely, I don’t feel anything except for the uncontrollable urge to keep moving.
