“The service is at the Sephardic synagogue just north of Forty-first Street,” I said. “The sanctuary is like a theater in the round. After the religious ceremony, we go to the banquet hall for lunch. While the guests are eating, we set up the sanctuary for a concert with Flo Rida. Then back to the banquet hall for the after-party.”
Javier shook his head, and I looked at my watch. It was almost eight. “Gotta get a move on,” I said. I leaned down and kissed his cheek. “I’ll call you later.”
