I didn't realize that I like his honey brown eyes until yesterday night, when he stared up at me. And it makes me want to kiss him hard and bruise. “We should keep f**king and I will keep your secret” I said bluntly. The expression on his face says it all, he thinks I have gone mad. “You're joking right?” He said, with a confused smile on his face. “No, I am not” I told him, His eyes widened. I smirked, “You must be insane,” Crowley said, glaring at me. “Yeah I am” “We're rivals!”

That much was undeniable. He drew a slow breath and spoke again. “Your people are hunting you down. They’re creating chaos outside to gain control over you.” “Y-You… mean… Aiken’s people,” Hailey clarified, though her voice remained soft. Zayn’s lips twitched with a smirk. Her correction was innocent, but her tone suggested she hadn’t yet accepted the depth of her bloodline. With a subtle tug, he reached for her hand and stepped closer to the bed. The girl immediately gripped the bedsheet tighter in her fist, her knuckles turning pale.

My sincerest and deepest gratitude goes out to the people reading this book. We are now past the halfway mark, as this story will consist of 86 chapters. I will not update this book again until the 20th of April. I will be focusing on my Werewolf story, The Alpha's Destiny at that time. As a writer, I don't force myself to write and I appreciate the readers on this app and their genuine understanding when I say I am busy and I cannot update a book. My fingers and brain are itching me to continue that particular book and I go with the flow of things so I can give you guys the best I have to give.
