Flesh And Fire: A short story Collection

Flesh And Fire: A short story Collection

I could kiss my best friend right now right in the lips!! Only, I'm not gay and she would probably kill me. If I did that, she would definitely definitely definitely murder me. She was the epitome of pretty hurts "You deserve to be spoiled,” Ruth insists, thrusting a gift card for a spa session into my hand. Her no-nonsense stare silences my protests before they even begin. “Go,” she says firmly, “and let yourself feel good for once.” Forty, divorced, and starting over—I never thought this would be my reality. The ink on the papers is barely dry and the weight of an unhappy marriage finally lifted.

Billionaire Ex, Divorce It!

Billionaire Ex, Divorce It!

Your divorce will be wiped clean as you were not legally married and any mark against your name will be cleared. The detective chatted a bit longer before leaving for his next job. Dad held me tight, and I sobbed for a little while. I do not know why I was crying. Maybe it was because of the years wasted on a fake marriage, or maybe relief that I could be really free. I am no longer considered a divorced woman, so I should be happy not in tears.

he said, grinning happily. “Congratulations,” Mara shrugged carelessly. She didn’t care about the divorce. It no longer mattered to her. In the past, it had meant freedom and a beautiful future. Now, it meant nothing but pain and misery for her. “Why don’t you come say hi?”, Leo urged.

Beyond the Divorce

Beyond the Divorce

After all, I couldn’t be mean to an older woman. Grace looked worn out and conflicted when she saw me. I understood her feelings and ordered her some hot milk. I waited for her to speak, and her lips twitched as she asked, “How’s Ava?” Immediately after, she burst into tears. I had to admit she doted on my daughter. “She’s okay but not as perky as before,” I spoke blandly despite myself. I noticed her sad expression and added, “You’re welcome to visit her anytime.” My words encouraged Grace, and she held my hand, “Can you reconsider the divorce?”

This story should be a one star but I know it won’t show if I don’t give it a 5 star rate that how good novel works. Chapter are too short and this story is dragging on forever. I don’t know why I am still reading it. There’s no hot passionate scenes or chapters i don’t know how you got promoted.

I loved this book. I liked all the characters and their interactions. Loved Atlas & Chloe together. Parts of the book are very suspenseful and made it hard to put down. Liked that she was a mom and a business owner. She was strong and intelligent. Hated that the book was over. Highly recommend.

DIVORCED BY THE BILLIONAIRE

DIVORCED BY THE BILLIONAIRE

He was divorcing me? “N-No…” I whispered shakily. The papers slipped from my fingers onto the bed. “No…” I mumbled again. Damien looked completely calm. “We both know this marriage no longer serves any purpose.” he said to me. I stared at him in horror. “You want to divorce me?” I coughed out in shock. “I already made my decision.” he said quietly. My chest tightened so painfully that it became hard to breathe. “No…” I cried, shaking my head desperately. “Damien please… no…”

The Perks of Opening Up

The Perks of Opening Up

Mom stayed silent for a long time before finally saying, "As long as you're happy." Dad took the phone and mumbled, "Tell me if you need any money." "Cool," I replied. The call ended. I sat on my couch and stared blankly at the wall. "Damn. I'm divorced now. Three years of marriage. Boom. Gone." Of course, I mourned it a little, but honestly, I felt relieved. I felt like Madeline Fenton again, not Madeline Bates, the idiotic wife whose entire life revolved around Xavier.

Divorced My Husband, Married My Bully

her eyes watered with tears melting my heart. “I—” Her voice cracked as she sucked in a deep breath. Her teeth sank into her bottom lip, staring at her shoes before her eyes flickered back to mine, the corner of her mouth twitching into a smile that faltered. “I think we should divorce,” My world stopped tilting. “Whatever this is between us makes no sense. I appreciate everything you’ve done to help me and every effort you have taken to find my daughter. I would leave first thing tomorrow morning, get an apartment and I can pay you back if you want so I don't feel indebted to you,”

After Divorcing My Ex-husband, I Returned And Shined

After Divorcing My Ex-husband, I Returned And Shined

“Okay, okay. I get it. But I just… I’ve been thinking. About us. About everything we used to have.” “There is no us, Harold. We’re divorced.” His eyes pleaded with mine. “But that can change. People get remarried all the time, Audrey. We could start over. Really… try this time.” That actually made me laugh—sharp and cold. “Start over?” I shook my head, crossing my arms. “I thank God every day that we ended. You tore me down every time I tried to dream. You never believed in anything I was or wanted to be. I have no desire to revisit that nightmare.”
