They’re just targets now. Some of the spiders are smaller—quick, twitchy, harder to hit. Others are behemoths, slow and completely armored, needing coordinated simultaneous attacks just to pierce their shells. One of them, dark red and swollen with what looks like eggs, explodes when Chris’ axe cleaves its abdomen. Hundreds of baby ones spill out, shrieking and snapping.
