The wolf purred in response to her question and began licking her again. A few hours later, Rain and the wolf sat together. Its eyes never left her. She noticed the way he was sniffing the air around her, snuggling close to her as if to seek comfort. It warmed her heart. "Why did they lock you here?" She wondered, touching its furs. Again, she earned a purr from it and she sighed. There were so many things she didn't know. Rain kept the wolf company by singing to it, her voice creaky like a frog's.

It still took me a good 60 seconds to fully shift and it still hurt some, but it was a lot better than an hour. I shook out my fur and sat on my haunches, looking at them all. Tristan came back over to me and ran his hands through my fur. Aramyth let out a rumbling purr in her chest. I never would have believed that wolves could purr, it was more like a growl in their chest, but we called it a purr nonetheless. “You’re beautiful Aramyth, just like Alyce.” Tristan murmured. He stepped back a ways and shifted, letting Ryder out.

The lady purred like a cat and I smiled into her mouth. “Yes baby, purr for me.” I encouraged with a murmur before twirling my tongue around her. “You are a beast. A sweet but wicked beast.” She cried emotionally into my mouth and I grinned with happiness. If only she knew how close she was to the truth. Of course wolves are beasts and it’s no insult when you call us one. In passion, mind you! Don’t dare call a wolf a beast when in angry mode, else they will prove the truth of it to you by tearing your head off your body.
