If Eliot wasn’t going to blow up, maybe he could just move on.
That’s when he turned to Noah.
Noah was easygoing, always smiling, friendly with everyone. And—most importantly—he didn’t ask hard questions.
Theo purposely bumped into him at the dining hall.
“Hey, you’re Noah, right?” Theo asked.
Noah turned. “Yeah. You’re Theo?”
“Yeah.” Theo rubbed the back of his neck. “Are you in Calc II?”
“Nope. Bio major.”
“Right, cool.” Theo chuckled nervously. “Just thought I’d say hi. You seem chill.”
