The Crush's Crusher

The Crush's Crusher

My subconscious put in, cutting my inner annoying rant. "Don't worry Fay, I'll only puncture you once, that is if you're willing to cooperate." The doctor said as he lifted my left hand up, searching for a vein. He traced my veins in search of a stronger and a more visible one while I prayed for a vein to not be found, pitiful, I know. To my horror, he found one and immediately tied my left hand tightly with a rope like something used in hospitals. "I know you're scared of needles, you'll be fine, yeah?" He inquired.

There's something magical about Josephine Ivy's writing. It flows, it's like music, jazz to the soul. But even the best writing style can not elevate a bad story. Luckily, her story, characters and plot and their development are equally as magical. She's a writer on my radar.

The first chapter really grabbed my attention, it has something a first chapter should have, which is the main motive of drawing people into the book. I'm curious to see how things turn out between Silas and Fay. Good work Josie.

The Ex-wife’s game

The Ex-wife’s game

I pasued, I couldn’t reveal that I knew that he was cheating, now was not the right time, “You ignore my grievances and let your mother and everyone maltreat me, in your eyes I am nothing more than a cash-cow, see you in court.” The moment I said all this I hung up. The woman next to me stared at me in pity, I simply glanced at her with a small smile. I didn’t need her pity. “Are you okay Mrs. Mauve,” a voice asked. I looked up only to see Dr. Dante staring at me with those chestnut eyes of his. I shook my head, I was not okay. “You should come in, let’s start the consultation,” he said with a small smile, I nodded. Dr. Dante Yu is the physician in charge of monitoring my health.

The Heiress' Return: Six Brothers at Her Beck and Call

The Heiress' Return: Six Brothers at Her Beck and Call

"The entire team of doctors at our hospital diagnosed Clyde's condition. It's not something that can be cured so easily. Even if it's traditional medicine and acupuncture, the practitioner should at least have a recognized reputation. Mr. Grisham Senior, may I ask, did this person say who they were?" "No," Clyde replied, fixing his gaze on Cecil with a sharp look that carried the imposing air of someone in authority. "However, from this conversation, I've come to realize something.

I wouldn’t bother reading. The author has dragged this out and made the storyline almost unrecognizable from what it was portrayed. Instead of focusing on the lost child and the reunion with the family they have introduced stupid plots to drag the story on- and on- and on- and on!

The Age Plus Billionaire Cowboy

The Age Plus Billionaire Cowboy

Either what she was experiencing was a side effect from the sleeping pills or she was allergic to something. Oh, god. What if I have developed an allergy to chocolate. Life wouldn’t be worth living if it’s that. There was a knock on the door. Then someone opened it. It was her regular general physician, Dr. Dent. When Ava had started seeing him, Dr. Dent had been a delicious looking man with his dark hair and stout physique. He still had a good looking physique and a handsome face. The only difference, after the past few years, was he had white hair around his temples. It made him look intelligent and distinguished. Unfortunately, he was married with five children – always was.

Monster Luna Writes Her Own Destiny

Monster Luna Writes Her Own Destiny

His breath was short and raspy, each exhalation like shattering glass. Dr. Clera leaned in, her eyes scanning each wound with her small lamp. She wasn't just an ordinary doctor—she was the one I trusted most, giving me medicine in the mornings and patching up invisible wounds at night. Now, her expression was hard to hide. "This isn't a bacterial infection, it's not an allergy. It's not something I know medically. None of the medicines I prepared are responding."
