The man who seemed too young to be a doctor said and immediately he was by my side. "Stupid man." He muttered and I raised a brow at him. "I heard that," Maverick said suddenly. Just as she was about to force her way through, a voice behind her called out. “Miss?” She turned to see a young man, mid-thirties at most, dressed in a white coat. His name tag read Dr. Ramirez. His sharp eyes swept over her. “Are you alright? You seem to be lost amid this chaos. Are you perhaps looking for someone?” Relief crashed into her like a wave. “Yes—yes, please! A young man was just brought in from an accident. His name is Luca.” Dr. Ramirez frowned slightly. “Ma'am, as you can see, a lot of patients are being rushed in so it's understandable that I don’t recognize the name.”
