Invisible Doctor
Federico Klein asked from the doorway of the conference room.
She nodded with a calm expression that fooled anyone who didn’t know her well. Klein knew better.
Smith, her mentor and lab supervisor, was already inside, reviewing papers with his usual surgical precision.
Then the door opened.
Dr. Stephen Hall entered with a confident stride, a briefcase in hand and a broad smile.
A man in his fifties, with silver hair, a faint foreign accent, and a direct gaze. He was dressed simply, but his presence alone seemed to fill the room.
