Does Rhysand Die Novels & Stories

Witches always found a way of surviving death and that was not happening. “What did she say to you?” Rhys asks “You didn’t hear?” He shakes his head at me. “The wind and rain was screwing over my senses. I almost felt like I was losing my mind.” “It doesn’t matter.” I mutter. “She’s dead and she is staying that way. Now if you won’t burn the body, I will.” He nods his head and grabs some matches from the nearby storage shed. With a single strike, the match lights up and he tosses it on to her body. Flames quickly engulf Eden as if she had something flammable plastered on her skin.

“I said what I needed to say. If Elio takes over completely, end it. Kill me. Do not let me become him. I cannot live as a traitor wearing my face.” Rhydian grabbed my shoulders. “Do not talk like that. We still have time. We can fight this longer.” My hands reached up and straightened his collar. The movement was mine for now. “Time is running out. The friction is too strong. I would rather die as Soren than live as a lie. Promise me you will do what is right.” Rhydian searched my eyes. “You are still here. I see you fighting. The letter can wait. Stay with me as long as you can.”

They’re all waiting for me to speak. I clear my throat and start to speak, even though the memories are too fresh in my head and it’s making me a bit nervous to speak about it. “I’ve seen everything,” I say. “My Lycan Ivory is the significant other of the evil Shape Shifter Rhysand. She’s now inhabiting my body, and it seems that he knew that. He found her through me again, and that is the reason why he’s trying to get to me. He wants her back, but their love has turned sour and now he just wants to possess her for revenge. He wants to destroy everything just to get her back.”

The bruise on her cheek was nothing to her, but it had already ignited the edifying hot blood within me. Rhysand stood in the doorway, his cold eyes focused on the back of Pascha's head. The man was leaning against the wall with his arms crossed. I could start a war for Piero's death if I wanted, but I could destroy everything when it came to Gretta Mikhaelovich. "You screwed up, buddy," Rhysand said with a chuckle, clasping his hands on the wooden table. "Warnings always come late, but well, I told you not to mess with his. You should feel lucky."

“The ones who lost control, for a moment.” I press my hands against his chest, trying to shove him away. But his skin is ice, and I feel it through my fingers. My body betrays me, shivering. “Where…where is she?” I manage, voice shaking. Betty. I replay the chaos, the flashing lights, the danger, the hands that almost grabbed her. “She’s safe,” Rhysand says, voice softening. “I would never let one of my kind hurt my mate’s friend.” His fingers trace my jawline, grazing my cheek. I flinch, but I can’t pull completely away.

Elara got furious. She hurled the pendant into Rhys’s chest. It pierced erupted. Light. Shadow. Screams. And silence. When the storm cleared, Rhys lay on his back, the sigil seared into ash across his chest. His eyes fluttered open. Rhys said, softly. “Did I… break it?” “You broke me.” Elara tears streamin He coughed—blood, not power. “I just… wanted to matter.” “You always did.” She expressed. He smiled. Then died.

It would be unbearable, dark, lonely, I wouldn't be able to survive. Rhys slowly turned to face me; he placed my hands on his hard, muscular chest, “Felza, I'll come back. Even if I die, I'll conquer death and return.” he said with a wild grin and I punched his chest, sniffing and wrinkling my nose, “You're not going to die. Let's leave the pack, go far from here. We'll sort out the war with the rouges. I believe we can win.” Trying to convince Rhys seemed fruitless because his mind was already made up. He simply nodded and kissed my knuckles, “I'll think about it.”

“Let Mr. Road go now, or no one can save you. You and your family will die.” “You’re forgetting where you are. Chief Hill will kill you!” Those on the Roads’ side tore Kaze a new one. Rhys caught his breath. While looking ghastly, he said in a raspy voice, “If you hurt me, I’ll kill your family— “Mgh!” Rhys’ head fell limp, and his eyeballs popped out of their sockets in splatters of blood. “You…” Rhys’ struggles paused as he looked at Kaze in disbelief.

“Today, Ithea has suffered a great loss. We've lost one of the best champions the kingdom has ever had. Rhaizen Gale's untimely death has caught us all off guard. We will honor him for his valor in combating the fearsome Trerth and defending the kingdom. I am eternally grateful for his service and unwavering love for this kingdom. But we must press on; the nation needs a new champion to defend us, and we have several exciting new candidates in the running.

Rhys stood framed in the dispensary doorway, flanked by two armed Betas and, impossibly, Alpha Gideon. Rhys's eyes were flat, lethal, and triumphant. He took in the entire scene in a single, damning glance: the open window, the dead healer, the blood, and me, kneeling over the body, my hands stained with blood from my escape and Maeve's hemorrhage. Rhys looked from the corpse to me, then slowly back to his stunned grandfather. "It seems, Grandfather," Rhys stated, his voice a low, cold vibration that promised death, "that your protection only prolonged the inevitable. She left the safety of your chambers and murdered the one witness capable of exposing her true agenda."
